Tango was a major fuck up. MS should've kept them around at least until they saw more of that studio
This is gonna be Lionhead all over again. Microsoft wanted a Japanese studio so badly, and when they get one, boom, gone. Tango do an awesome job.
I am MAD they closed Tango Games. We needed a EW3 or GT2.
Just gutted by these moves from Microsoft. I haven’t been this disappointed since Sony closed the Japan first party studios a few years back. Tango makes no sense when Xbox was wanting to expand their studios in Japan and Arkane Austin has made great games outside of Redfall. Very angry right now, this sucks!

Why is Microsoft spending 7.5 billion to shudder half the studios they got with that money. Xbox fanboys do not try and spin this into a good thing. I cannot be excited for Xbox’s showcase if this is the kinda stuff they’re gonna do going forward. What’s next they’re closing Toys for Bob and Treyarch??? Terrible time to be an Xbox fan

No one should be surprised, Xbox hasn't put any effort into making their games quality for so long of course they weren't going to make any money and with Game Pass sales Plumeting of course they're going to fire Studios.
Shinji and Tam from Ninja Theory leaving should have been your first red flags. Hopefully some of these deaths go to Sony and Nintendo where they can be appreciated

Tango is one of my favorite studios. All their games are consistently good. I really despise this company more & more.
i'm getting flashbacks of insomniac where microsoft could have bought them but didn't thank god, and now they let another good opportunity slip i would laugh if sony bought tango and greenlit hi fi rush 2 and evil within 3 LOL
Hell i just bought the Series X few days ago and tempted to just return it. Tango should've been sold to Sony, Hi fi Rush so so successful, Ghost wite tokyo was fun and The Evil Within was such an amazing cult classic that deserved a 3rd entree.

I swear they must have thought ok we're going to announce the Xbox showcase first. Then we're going to close 4 studios and hope nobody notices? Are you kidding me? This is unacceptable obviously to the employees but also to fans of these developers. Now we have nothing to look forward to for any of these games.
this is honestly one of the saddest things i've seen. This studio was honestly great, this is a huge gut punch especially after how amazing hi-fi rush was :/

Both companies suck, Playstation canceled 7 live service games and push their single players games to next year and Microsoft closed down Bethesda studios. These companies don't care about none of us but just money. Its sad.

Hi-fi rush was so great. A boss fight to set to Fiona apple’s fast as you can .. I almost glazed my series x
That’s why I was against Sony doing a revenge acquisition, thankfully they didn’t cause this type of consolidation could’ve been devastating if both companies did it at the same time.

They wanted to make Prey 2 but was forced to make Redfall. So forget Prey 2.

@@joshuaknox2724 Probably the best thing to do even if playstation ain't been putting out a lot of games. But I suggest if you pick 1 up get Stellar Blade combat is ridiculously fun if you into this type of games I'm really enjoying it and I didn't get none of these other exclusives on playstation first exclusive I've picked up since I bought a ps5 but at least it lived up to the hype
Yes, Ghostwire is an awesome game, too many people wrote it off for shallow reasons.
I honestly to god am sad because I love Ghost Wire Tokyo and was always hoping g for a sequel that now will definitely never happen

The loss of Arkane Austin hurts so bad, people were wondering why Redfall never got it's 2 character DLC and now we know why? After the loss of the studios founder and Redfall, I really hoped they would turn things around. Truly a tragedy.

The main guy at Ninja Theory resigned a few weeks back. They'll probably get shuttered too. Shinji left Tango last year, he likely knew that Tango would be closed. Such a damn shame.

High five rush had poor sales
So did Halo Infinite, so did Starfield. Xbox games don't sell because they go to Game pass. What was the budget for Halo or Starfield? What was the budget for Hi Fi Rush? Xbox is dead in Japan and Tango was a beloved Japanese studio. Xbox is a dead brand, closing Tango is a braindead move.
