The man who played this character is the most underrated actor ever. I wish Hollywood paid more attention to this actor and gave him more accolades for his skills. I miss this guy.
Robert Donner is his name. He played Yancy on The Waltons to. He also had a part in Cool Hand Luke. Always enjoy seeing him in film and television episodes.
To tell you the truth, Exidor is virtually all I remember of this show. When we were in elementary school during this period, 'Mork?! Is that you?!' was one of the major classroom catchphrases.
Like so many others, Robert Donner's Exidor is about the only thing I remember of Mork & Mindy. He even made Robin Williams seem forgettable. R.I.P. Robert Donner.
Actually this episode was in 1979 not 1971. Mork and Mindy was first aired in 1978. And yes O.J. Simpson was still admired as a great football running back during the 70's and 80's kids.
Exidor was the man! I wish they did do a spin-off of him! Too bad Robert Donner died a few years ago. I wonder if Exidor foresaw his savior becoming a murderer in 1993.

well said
Only Exidor would see the world not being destroyed as a let down. And I can't help but be a lil nervous for a man who worshiped OJ Simpson.
This was from 1971. The "event" happened in 94. There was a time that OJ was admired and respected.
@@watchgoose Mork and Mindy was not on in 1971.

This is a very good representation of the religion of NFLism.
Bob and Robin were great and Bob was scary as the revenge seeking father in the Incredible Hulk.
