Thanks, bro. I just got 'Winter' last night. Awesome awesome performance! pero antok na ako to really test it out; I just drove it home. Big difference between standard mode and sport mode. Noticed this weird smell though, like something's burning pero not really burning. Hindi ko ma-describe yung smell eh, coming from the bottom of the vehicle or engine after i drove it home. It's probably nothing; or could be the smell of the catalytic converter doing its job siguro, i dunno.
That's that catalytic converter bro, same with me. Until now it has that smell parin and that's fine. Congratulations on your new ride! Sakto pamasko, enjoy the road trips
ang manual low gear para sa torque, ang manual high gear sa fuel economy. napapansin ko kasi sa coolray ko pag naka sport mode, mas tumatambay sya sa low gear para malakas hatak at mareach agad top speed, pag naka eco mode naman, mahina hatak at ang bilis nya mag up shift.
I havent tried comparing them po but I think mas fuel efficient Pag Matic lang kasi napansin ko Rin mas tipid Pag naka cruise control. I can't be sure pa po, I'll do some more driving tests and update everyone Pag confident na ako sa sagot. Thanks for watching
ganun po ba dapat gagawin para maiyak ung gulong, break at the same time press sa accelarator, then wait sa pinakamagandang rpm? wla naman po ba magiging issue sa makina? hehe thanks
Pwede naman po floor lang accelerator but to have it do the tire spin consistently, the brake method works best. This method will burn the breaks and wheels faster so you only really want to do this for occasional fun. Make sure din you practice safety first and only do this on clear roads or on tracks. Only about 2500 RPM. If you floor the gas while holding the brake, the RPM will rise up to almost 4000 RPM. This gives more wheelspin and I have tried!
Good question, I haven't tried that yet kung pwede. Pero we only disable tranction control to make it easier to make wheel spin kasi traction control when turned on makes sure all the wheels have the best traction (kapit sa daan) so it avoids spinning the wheels that can cause the driver to loose control of the vehicle. Use lang talaga ng tranction control is to get out off muddy and sandy roads and para dito sa mga spirited drives. hehe I'll update you po if pwede disable traction control while rolling. I think sa dealership parin for now availability ng OEM. Parts are still far from how they are in terms of availability compared to Toyota or Mitsubishi, but I think that's the same story for the other brands :) I think with the rate Coolray has been selling, by the time most of the 3-year warranty runs out, more and more parts shop will stock on parts for the Coolray po. Now, not there yet though and I think that's the truth lang talaga with these new brands/models. Thanks for watching
Is it safe to press to sports mode while driving at normal mode? Like for example you wanted to overtake a long vehicle so you will need extra push. pa demo naman sir using manual shifter pra sa mga nka comfort model without paddle shifter. hehe.
It happens to me po when I suddenly press down hard on the throttle. It's the catalytic converter po doing its work. That smell though should not be persistent po, Pag lagpas 30mins and njan pa most likely me ibang issue sya. Plus the catalytic converter smells more like burnt gasoline, gasoline, or something similar po. If worried po kayo, have it checked by your case and just be ready to demo to them your concern. I think there have been different views when it comes to this and for me, my middle ground is to use engine breaking to supliment actual breaking Lalo na on special conditions. Breaks are designed to stop the vehicles but there are cases (like downhill or spirited driving) where breaks can hear up and be less effective. Engine breaking helps stop the vehicle in those cases. Good question, I haven't tried that yet kung pwede. Pero we only disable tranction control to make it easier to make wheel spin kasi traction control when turned on makes sure all the wheels have the best traction (kapit sa daan) so it avoids spinning the wheels that can cause the driver to loose control of the vehicle. Use lang talaga ng tranction control is to get out off muddy and sandy roads and para dito sa mga spirited drives. hehe
