I am from Malta and i worked on this film with the carpenters section. Me and my friend Arthur done a lot of work on the arches especially on the biggest one entering in the coleseum and the ones inside the coleseum. It was a great experience for me. I saw the film last Monday and i like it very much.
Thank you for sharing. I'm glad that you had a good experience. Y'all did great work with the Colosseum set. 👍 I absolutely loved the production design of Gladiator II, and the film as a whole is a masterpiece.
Gladiator II isnt set 2 decades after the first film, its set 16 years later. Furthermore, Connie Neilson isnt the only returning member of the cast, you forgot the very excellent Sir Derek Jacobi as Senator Gracchus.
i have not seen it yet. im going monday. im not expecting it to be as good as the first one. Its hard to b better than a best picture, best actor, and best supporting actor....most of the reviews are good. 439 million at the box office and stilling showing............
Im going to c it on monday. i loved the first gladiator. i was not surprised when it won Best Picture. thanks to everyone who worked on the film. the workers who help make movies, dont usually get enough credit. Your comments are interesting. the fans want to hear it....I watched the first gladiator, 2 times in the last 4 days. haha. Russell Crowe was also best actor. Looking forward to this 3 hour vacation......
I recently found your channel and i found it great! the only feedback i would give to you is that you can improve on the thumbnails. other than that great content, you earned a sub :)
I went to see Gladiator 2 today! Amazing! Living in South Africa, 45 km from Kruger National park, and seeing rhinos in real life (although very rarely now), I can only wonder at the amazingly realistic (anamatronic) rhino in this film... Even the movement, the hair on the ears.... Everything about this movie screams BLOCK BUSTER!!
Nowhere near as good as the 1st film. The pacing is so disjointed that the characters personality's are thrown out the window, the character building and camaraderie just isn't there unfortunately. Visually it's decent, although the CGI of the animals were really bad and off-putting particularly the demon monkeys. I feel the casting was offbeat, Denzel Washington just doesn't work in my opinion.....the main character doesn't have anywhere near the presence of Russel Crow - across the board I didn't find the acting great - more about their name than breathing life into the characters they were. I literally couldn't harbour any emotional connection to the characters or events what so ever, as the time spent on this element was almost nil or rushed. It was a fun film at best...wasted opportunity imo - major pacing issues and weak dialogue - felt like they used gladiator 1 far to much to maybe try and swing it - but lost its own identity
Horrible in comparison to the original. Lots of violence and special effects but completely lackluster in emotion. The star, Maximus’ son, is horrendous and speaks in monotone. It’s mind boggling they put this out. If you loved Gladiator this movie isn’t for you. If you love special effects and don’t care about the story then it’s right up your alley. I give it a 2 out of 10.

I loved this kind of Movie like an Emperor and Roman Empire. A heartbreaking and Epic Hollywood movie.❤❤Love it! 🔥🔥💋💋❤️❤️Love you Baby Supercar blondie! 💖💖💋💋🙏😇🌻🌻God bless!
After Chris Nolan and Ridley Scott, james cemeron ....who are known for the practical effects on films, I wonder who else is there to take on Ridley's Legacy
The scene when they fill coliseum with water and sharks it was visually stunning but historically I think that never happened is more like a phantasy scene which is ok I guess and in a movie anything can happen but if is supposed be about real events mixing it up with phantasy it makes the movie kinda cheese. But at the end I did enjoyed the movie
to be honest, there is some dispute over whether or not the Colosseum in Rome could have supported the naval battles - there are really only 2 colosseums that might have been able to support these.

I stopped watching movies after 2005 because it became pointless. Nothing innovative, just recycled and copied ideas. I don't see the point of all the hype and effort behind the scenes when the final product is guaranteed to be trash.
The entire movie was a massive let down🥵😢 The story has zero emotion compared to the original. Maximus’ son speaks in monotone the entire movie. The story sux. I was excited but sadly I left completely disappointed…

I worked on set in Malta. And i can say that going in to work and being on set felt like travelling back through time.
I suppose it was fun working on set.
That’s awesome
very awesome. love to hear these kinda stories. Going to see the movie monday

i worked on this film in malta as a double and i went through the bootcamps twice was a tough experience but an amazing one
What was it like seeing Ridley Scott at work?
I love hearing this feedback from the actual people behind the scenes of this impressive movie. Such a great job!

He very little screen time though
Wow, thats amazing what they went through. Especially pedro, who is always saying he has a bad back and is an old man 😆.

"Strength And Honour!"
My Dad was at school with Ridley Scott 🤓 Ridley is probably our little town’s biggest most successful and influential export!
What do you mean there's a script out there of time-traveler resurrected Maximus? lol
Do we want that movie? I kinda want it, for the cheese of it.

Denis Villeneuve is right up there, directed Blade runner 2049 and Dune, his films are even more epic and real.
@@Thisnthat979 of course, how could I forget? I'll add that to the comment.. thanks
I really want to watch this movie badly and i think this is the best movie of 2024
You're wrong about Connie being the only actor/actress to return from the original film, Derek Jacobi is in the new film also
Excellent movie

can anyone tell who was the guy doing interview?

Ok, so.. where is the training..?
Im a die hard fan for the first one, ao the second better be good or I won't watch a 3rd

who that guy with headphone doing the interview?

Extreme animal killing.
Hollywood totally cucked the Romans on this movie. I loathe Hollywood and what crap they add to their movies.
Lighten up. Enjoy the movie
The cgi for the baboons was awful

@ and let’s be honest he had zero qualities to lead any army. At the start he demanded no respect
They freaked me out
Anybody can do this CGI crap
Anybody? really? There is a lot of crap CGI. Good CGI not so easy.
To a trained eye, that wouldn't be enjoyable would it?
This movie's good. But not as good as Gladiator 1.
Shame was a crap film
This will flop! Paramount Pictures is a dumpster 🔥
it didnt flop. 439 million in ticket sales, and still in the theaters.........
