I hope the cops leave you alone as much as possible but just know they probably wanna make sure everyone is safe. If you get hurt on someone's property they could be liable for your injuries. Chances are the cop is going to realize you are harmless but the property owner may not.

You are right about the weather. Nice warm up this week! In the 70s. Sunny skies. Very pleasant. You know what? We used to carry a coffeemaker with us. lol. Always had to look for places to plug it in and had all sorts of adventures while doing this. Turned our back once and a church guy (!!) threw the coffeemaker into the dumpster. (In Fresno, CA) Got the coffeemaker back and haulked it all the way to Texas. At some point it was just too much to carry around. Right now it's cold food and cold coffee. But hey, the caffeine still does the trick!

Der atmosphärische/ klimatische Unterschied wird sowohl in den Bildern als auch in eurer Kleidung deutlich - und man glaubt kaum, dass zwischen den beiden Orten nur wenige Meilen liegen und die Aufnahmen innerhalb weniger Tage entstanden sind... Wie überhaupt "Zeit und Raum" auf euren Internetpostings zunehmend "zweitrangig" scheinen: da ihr auf Facebook jetzt fast gleichzeitig Texas Alben von 2012 postet und ich eure Routen von damals und jetzt gelegentlich auf Google Maps "nachfahre", merke ich, dass manche Namen im geographischen "Umfeld" hier wie dort "auftauchen" und sich eure Bilder oft eher durch die klimatische Atmosphäre ( sonnig - regnerisch oder kalt - warm etc. ) unterscheiden als durch die Jahre dazwischen. Und der Eindruck, dass ihr irgendwie "zeitlos/ aus der Zeit gefallen" seid kommt da immer wieder/ immer öfter...😮👍 p. S. : trifft - in einem ganz(!) anderen Sinn - übrigens auch auf die USA und deren Politik zu😮, die mir momentan in den Dreharbeiten eines - monströsen - Filmprojekts/ - Remakes "verstrickt" scheint🤔: Titel: "..... und täglich grüßt das (durchgeknallte) Murmeltier, Teil 2"😮😱

Sort of... Didn't run us out of town... but we figured staying there wasn't a good idea. The cactus spot was gone and now we were probably on their radar. We stayed there for so long because we loved the cactus spot.
Hitchhiking in the US is dangerous. Two beautiful young women hitchhiking is a serial killer's delight. I hope that you stop doing this and travel by safer means.
