for filling the ATO it might be a good idea to keep a small pump and hose in your bucket or container for RO and just pump the water in rather than trying to pour through the small funnel. Super awesome ideas and I think I will be ordering the roller for the innovative 10g.
Is no one gonna say anything about the North American house rhino in his garage?? 1:09 Seriously the mods on this go hard. I don't have a saltwater but even watching your intro I was like DAMNNNN
If you drop the end of the water return line into really hot water and then immediately force the tube into the purple thing it will seal when it cools off. Usually works

I honestly have no idea what DC pump would fit this but it definitely needs more flow. I am going to put and SLW-5 wave maker into it. I think that’s a better option then upgrading the pump. It’s don’t really need more filtration flow.
So are you saying add the UV led to the rear chamber to make it like a UV sterilizer? Or add the UV led to the light to get more color pop from the coral ? I do think I’m going to add some blue LEDs to the light. It only has like 3 or 4.
The design looks great!! The rino horn is a perfect design for that tank! Love that your designing stuff like this for the smaller tanks why I subbed in the first place haha! Would love to see something for the aqua top 24 gallon been trying to find something for it
Hello, your videos are amazing! Are you able to do anything with the eshopps desk-mate tank? It is extremely small! But any upgrades to the filtration system would be a bonus!
this is great for the tank you started with and hinestly you should do all your videos shirtless as creepy as that sounds haha imnsure it will encourage more people to follow you and your footsteps and it's a good change haha
Hi, I was wondering if you ever considered printing heater guards to keep anemones from getting burned or just to protect the actual heater from rocks and stuff?
Just waiting for the day you build an add on for the roller to add a motor. I am on month 3? of my first roll and the manual turn twice a day is about the only downside I can find only because my fleece on the big tank is automatic.
Yeah, i started with manual because everything electronic fails at some point. But I design this so that a motor can easily be installed in the future.
Cleaning will be a bit of an issue for sure. I am just planning on moving the tank during a water change so I can get into the reservoir. It shouldn’t be a problem. If you didn’t see the top of the reservoir is mostly open.
I will do both. I always make everything available for purchase or you can request the file. The octopus arm frag rack is not quite ready. It still needs a little work and design adjustments. Is coming in one of my next videos.
@ISeaLive Hell yeah, Thanks man! I dont like to just copy someones build or ideas but I am new to saltwater and wanted to get a small all in one tank like this. this would be a good start that I can customize on top of your upgrades. I'll likely end up designing my own coral shelf
@@crustysleet yes it includes a full roll. It’s a pre order still because they take about 2 weeks to make. I’m sending them out, I just need to limit the orders.
@@ISeaLive excellent, I have my finances tied up currently because it's end of the year and I'm figuring my tax situation, but I will be ordering within the next 3 weeks. Last question, I can choose a color?
I have a bag of ceramic cubes in the back of the tank and I used water from my other tanks. I also have the ceramic cubes in the other tanks for some time too.
After chopping of the trim it’s clear that It was not for stability. The trim is on the tank just to hide the ugly silicone job. The trim was barely even attached to the tank at each end and came of easy. It’s still possible I might have damaged some of the silicone and weakened the tank but only time will tell.
@ISeaLive kinda unfortunate you didn't mention any of that in your video for any new hobbiests, and I've taken trim off of small tanks just like that to have them bow out due to the trim not adding that extra stability.
So far there is nothing to look at. The purple fake octopus arm looks just as crappy as castles and treasure chests in a freshwater tanks. Form over substance, maybe it will look better once you put something alive inside it.
That ar rino was hilarious
I had to rewatch it because my brain just couldn’t process what it had seen… I thought it was a messed up looking dog 😂
Thought it was tiny wild pig
How incredible is your engineering 😮
thank you 👍
This makes me want to buy that tank🔥🔥
It does look good for a cheap tank. I don’t have any livestock in it so it’s hard to tell how well it’s going to work for me.
this is the craziest thing i ever seen and i love it !
Awesome, thank you Marco 👍🏻
Spectacular custom build; ridiculously creative!

Awesome, be sure to send me some pictures or what you make. 👍🏻
If you drop the end of the water return line into really hot water and then immediately force the tube into the purple thing it will seal when it cools off. Usually works
Yeah that should work. I also use a heat gun to achieve the same thing. However, layer lines can still be a problem.

Is there any specific filament you have to use that is reef safe? or will all filament generally be safe?
Nice design!
You can add a 5w UV Led with a shild in the middle and race water level, that will make it even better ;-)

I use bee's wax to seal my hoses with my 3D prints that way they are still removable

any plans to build a rollermat for the IM40?
Yes, I just need to get my hands on the tank.

Rhino horn lol. Yeah I’m going to start making some wild aqua scapes for some of the smaller tanks.
What adhesive/glue did you use on the acrylic?
It's Weldon 3, the standard acrylic solvent bond.
If you ever deside to make a auto fill base tank for the 13.5 please let me know, ty
Can I get info on the roller mat?
Would you make a diffuser for a hydra 32?
I’ll have to get my hands on a Hydra. I don’t have the size but I’m worried the light would be to big for my printers
I have a similar one that I just started where can I get the roller mat and that frag rack is clean
I might be making the roller mat for a few ppl to test out 👍

My garage has a Rhino infestation 😆
Anyway to make those tiny roller mats automatic? Those would definitely sell

I might've missed it but what're you using for Biological Filtration?
It has ceramic cubes on the back but I’ll be adding more in the next video as well.
What kind of fleece roll do you use for your filter rollers?
I guess it’s technically iSeaLive brand. I’m currently buying the fleece in bulk and rolling / rutting it down to size.
