#shared I really enjoyed the video when you found a Mills grenade and your friend thought it was inert and ended up having to call the Live audience team/bomb disposal 😂
Dear Simon, I first stumbled across your videos as a high schooler. I'm from America, but found the amount of history laying in the Thames absolutely amazing. Among all the artifacts, the myriad clay pipes you'd find captivated me the most. Fast forward to now. I'm now an archaeology student in college who's about to publish his first ever academic paper: on clay pipes! I've also been asked to do independent research into them at my university next semester. If it wasn't for your videos I likely never would have became interested in these artifacts if it wasn't for your videos. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your finds with the world, they've had a big influence on me!
This particular video is a little boring. I hate to say because I like Sy and his talent relaxes me reminding me when after the war I was looking for things in the rubble to sell. Anyway thank for the show. 38 43:42
For me, it would have to be one of the more recent videos and that's the head of the Queen (bust), because it was so unexpected. You'd think because so many mudluckers that could've found it because of it's size and you were the one to get it, was amazing. Thanks again for the video Simon and crew.
#SHARED. Oh, Si, there are so many wonderful treasures you've found to choose from. One of my absolute favorite episodes was watching you dig up the 2000 year old Roman pot. It was definitely a once in a lifetime moment! 🥰💜
the tiny glass bottle with the strange thing and water inside might be "Water Sterilizing Tablets bottle"., that strange thing might be the remainder of the cotton wool which was used inside the bottle.
My favorite episode was where you were on the Thames you found a lovely early 1900s wine bottle. Later I found it on your Etsy store and purchased it! And brought it to America. I love your channel and I love watching what you find, and I love your Up cycles! #shared
Yay, I thought you didn’t have a video this week, thought i missed it! You can always count on us mudlovers, we all share your videos!! Double cool lamp…..”he’s crafty, he gets around, he’s crafty, he’s always down”🎼👍 #shared
Several favorites so very hard to choose…the Dutch tobacco tin, the Roman pot, the 16th C. Cup, the Roman sandals; but I also love the Victorian dump with all the mudlarkers finding random bits, AND I really love the jam jars, pickle jars and anything advertising. Those plain jam jars sell for a lot in the USA. #shared
Wonderful Sunday afternoon viewing. How lucky you all were at that digging site. I especially liked the broach and beads. Your up cycle on the bicycle lamp was super creative. So nice that it will once again shine and light the darkness. Well done Simon! Have a great week and please keep safe. #shared ❤️🇨🇦
That was really nice meeting Wendy, beautiful!! I just love what she did with the padlock. That is so cool. I have a little gold padlock from the UK and I absolutely love it it's a pendant. The light turned out really great. You did a terrific job!! Thx for another great video!!🌊😃
Gosh, what's my favorite Si-Find video? I'd have to say your Roman pot find. I think that was breath taking. And you certainly looked over the moon with it! Thanks for all the great videos.# shared
#Shared Find Of A Lifetime ...The Queen Victoria Bust Find was astounding down to the mud imprint she left. What a day you both had. It was almost unbelievable. What you are doing with the large link gold chain is FABULOUS . I see fabulous rocks in your videos I would be scoffing up as well (rock hound here) I love and share your videos...👍👍
You guys are a laugh. Love it. That’s a lovely, colorful teapot. There are a lot of lovely bottles in that area. Beautiful brooch. What a cute little teacup. Awesome find, your gold pen nib. Love to see your upcycle, they’re wonderful.
Si I really enjoyed this episode, but my all time favourites are when you take out the young kids who are so enthusiastic and love mudlarking so much! I find that so thrilling because that’s the next generation coming up who will be able to carry on when the oldies have kicked the bucket!
Can’t pick one favorite! I love the dump videos where everyone was finding the foot-warmer thingies as well as tons of other cool stuff, skull island, being in the backyard with Nellie upcycling stuff and EVERY video you and Nicola colab together on! How’s that?
I'm a newer subscriber, but I think my favorite video so far is the one where you and some of your friends joined in on the clean-up of the canal that was drained. Finding cool things was enjoyable and interesting, but giving back and cleaning the garbage was so satisfying to watch! Those old bikes and tires needed to get out of the water!!! Thanks for all your amazing videos! I'm hooked and I shared with my family who love watching history, and things that are not violent but can be viewed by the whole family! #shared
Cheers Danita. I’ll let you in on a secret. That whole clean up was my idea. Without me contacting the CRT it would never have happened. Just goes to show, you never realise what a positive impact you can make! 👍🏻🐾🧡

Johnson's Glo-Coat floor wax, no rubbing means you don't have to buff it for it to shine. Spread on a thin layer and let it dry. Still in many USA households today. Beautiful brooch and a nice grab on the 14k nib. Great job on marrying the 2 pieces for the lamp. You're so kind the way you let people know what you see and think. Always the gentleman. Thanks for taking us along on your journey. Great video,...as always. Cheers Mudlover! xx
Really enjoy the upcycles, glad to see people create new things out of the bits and bobs that most people would throw to the side because it wasn't complete or unbroken. Just out of curiosity, did you apply the duct tape before drilling to prevent chipping?
Fantastic video so many different finds, love the toy soldier, the tea cup, the tin teapot reminds me of the 70s and lovely to put a face to the jewellery, wendy looks a lovely person, thanks for another good weeks watching
I shared this video where you were digging in a back yard to a few friends and my face book page. Love what you do and seeing the old history brought back and come to life. Stay safe ya'll.
Hello from Michigan USA I enjoyed this video. We Mudlark here and have found many things on our property. Bottles, dishes and buttons. One of the best things was a Wedgwood plate with a Rooster 🐓 on it not broken at all. Good luck to all of you!!

The roman pot is still an amazing find. The hovercraft crew are a good time. Some of my favorite larks are when you go with a pack of friends to a bottle dump, dig around, share, trade, have lunch and a lot of fun. You need to build a sifter, basically a screen with larger holes in a frame with legs to hold it off the ground. Dump in the dirt, give it a shake and see what's left 😉 That round stro-si corset marked disk appears to be part of the container that the extra steel "boning" or supports for the corset came in. #shared
Yall need to make a wooden sifter for this!! The ones that use 2 legs that you can support on the floor while you're sifting the dirt! I don't know if you know which ones I'm talking about but it's so easy to make one

Drene shampoo was introduced by Procter & Gamble of Cincinnati, Ohio, in the mid-1930s. It was the first modern synthetic (no soap) shampoo and it marked the company’s entrance into the hair care business. In 1946 and 1947 Procter & Gamble sponsored a variety radio program called Drene Time which featured singing and comedy acts, including the Bickersons, played by Don Ameche and Francis Langford. Procter & Gamble produced Drene in the United States until the 1970s.
Such a cool 😎 video 📹 With lovely findings and awesome information. That's a solid 👌 upcycle item . Enjoy n continue Mudlarking . With love from SAM Guwahati ,Assam, India 🇮🇳 ♥
Love lots of things that you have found. Some favourites are that Roman intact pot, QV Bust, many of the ancient coins you've unearthed, the garnets, the brass and large old nails, coloured small bottles and the anchor you have. Plus you can never scoff at a piece of gold in any form. Going to share QV Bust video with the Antique Roadshow video on the end. I was excited for you. #shared Cheers Si
Top stuff Si, what a super rich site, lots more to find there, I would say! Your best find has to be the "Vicky" bust, on the Thames, who would have believed that was there! Lamp was nice upcycle too, but kind dried sand (pouring sand) would have made your life easier! Haha! Felt a little "twinge" here, as this was your crew that I had the honour to meet, and have dinner with, thank you for that! 👌👍✌

Cheers Sam. Keep on running! I went for a run yesterday. 5 miles. My legs are aching loads now 😂
I loved that brooch you found! You have such a great friend group! I was glad to see Wendy. She is so talented. The lamp came out great!
I can't decide if I like watching mudlarking or dump videos more. Such a fun way to discover history!

Cheers Zach! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Actually meant to say copper nails. I also think that bottle label read French soapless shampoo
Thank you Simon. Love your lamp. Great video. #shared.
Cheers LS! 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Very famous 5 with the ginger beer and a bike ride 😅
What an incredible job you did on that bicycle lamp. Absolutely love it!
Cheers Pattie 👍🏻🐾🧡
