The cheapest eats in San Diego County are at Tip Top Meats in Carlsbad. Combo 1 for breakfast is $4.98. They serve lunch n dinner too. Filet mignon with soup or salad, bread, red cabbage, cole slaw, potato, and beer/wine/soda for under $15! Check them out if you haven't already.
My favorite breakfast in San Diego for a cheap breakfast or any kind of breakfast would be Las Cuatro Milpas, they are on the 1800 block of Logan believe, they have chorizo and beans with the best tortillas you’ll ever have included an a tamale for about six dollars
They prior to Covid could have lines of more than 100 people out the door

Original Pancake House (National City) off Palm Ave right of the 805. Big Portions and the potatoes are so good. We get two plates and it feeds four.

Bibingka reminds me of Christmas in the Philippines. After Simbang Gabi (Mass/Church), you will smell the freshly baked Bibingka and Puto Bumbong from the street vendor outside the Church. Ask for extra butter and coconut/sugar mix for best consumption. And yes, Manila Sunset makes the best bibingka here in the states.
Bro, You're killing it with these great reviews. I can definitely see Kris Bryant chowing down at Rose Donuts, which btw have the BEST Apple Fritters in ALL of San Diego. Funny because once I went to a donut place in El Centro and ordered an Apple Fritter. It was just as good as Rose Donuts at Linda Vista Rosd and Napa Street in Bay Park off Morena Blvd (the location you featured). I told the man working there that it Compared to the San Diego fritter and he said, "Yeah, We own that location too." 🙄

My favorite Filipino breakfast when I visit is Bangus fish with egg/rice, garlic rice preferred!!
Maybe I was there on an off day, but Lucky kept bringing us food that we didn't order and the pancakes were burned, lol. I would not go back for the food, but if someone has never been there I'd recommend that they give it a try just for the experience. We actually had a good time there and left happy!

personally, i like going to sunrise by the park, closer to chula vista. you can get lots of food for cheap, free pancakes or toast when you get a breakfast, and very quick service if your in a hurry.

My favorite place for breakfast is Fresh Golden Donuts. They have great donuts but its all about their croissants. I love the Ham and Cheese Croissant or their Ham, Cheese, and Jalapeno Croissant. They will heat them up for you when you order them. Fresh Golden Donuts is right next to the Starbucks in the Tierrasanta Town Center.
My favorite breakfast burrito is Royal Rooster in Mission Bay on the water. They grill the tortilla on the outside and the potatoes inside are so crispy. They smoke their own meat. It is the best burrito in San Diego. My husband and I always share one as it is do big.

So there's a place called Stratford court cafe in Del Mar, it's not cheap around 10-15$ an entree for brunch buts it is in a quiet nuuk in Del Mar 2 minutes from the beach. It's a nice quaint location and in my opinion a hidden gem and highly recommend it.
I do the same thing with my sinigang!! I make it as well!
I can Vouche for Los Reyes in Golden Hill! It's a great place. The food is great and inexpensive. We go there 4 to 5 timed a week.

Right across the street from Los Reyes is Humbertos which is by far the BEST Mexican food plus right down the street you got Golden Hills Cafe which is CHEAP and hella 🔥
