I went to Kiko’s earlier this week. Had the same food from this episode. Xavier was outside. When I asked him if he was the Xavier from the video, his face lit up with that smile from this video. He talked with us and thanked us for coming down. You could tell he is a humble dude!
Where is Kikos posted up at, so I can go try for myself, now that I'm all hungry 😅😅😅
Makanan yang enak dan sehat1🇲🇨🇲🇨👍
I’m currently during him
Mario seems such like a kind-hearted and chill guy . Wished I could be that mellow.
YOU CAN
Because he's a longboarder. Don't drop in on him though
He's definitely got some native or Aztec blood dude has such distinct features
@@postpwnmalone I dunno. He used the spanish words "super bien" which to me I have seen mostly like paraguayans use. But who knows. :)
@@argaen21 i dont know what but hes something lol such a chill vibe, he's that surfer dude
I’m a San Diego Native living in Los Angeles now, but seeing my hometown getting the recognition we deserve is an amazing thing. San Diego has everything and it’s its own world that’s different than LA or any other big city. It’s special. Big ups💯🙌🏽
It's such a shame Vice self destructed and destroyed Munchies too. Fransisco you gotta start your own youtube channel man!
Right crew, proper food. SF/
How did they self destruct?
Have you seen anything from them that isnt shit in years? @banndboy9269
I’m a native of SD. Kikos is the best. When family visit and they ask where’s the best Mexican seafood I always tell them Kiko”s. They laugh when I tell them it’s a food truck so bring a folding chair and enjoy.
As a native San Diego gal, this warmed my heart seeing us on the map! This is exactly what SD is.
You are gorgeous
Just got back from San Diego and accidentally found this place one day during the trip.
Y’all their food is so bomb it’s surreal. My husband is Vietnamese and *very* picky about the quality and freshness of his seafood & he damn near had tears in his eyes while he was tucking away ceviche and tacos.
It was a cold day and they were even giving out complimentary caldo to keep warm while eating and waiting.
We have such an underrated food culture out here
Best of the best right here! Glad they’re getting this spotlight 🔥
I almost don't even want to watch this cause it looks so good. Look at those portions and presentation. Good thing I usually cook and watch these videos at the same time.
Wow- thanks for captivating this chill, relaxed vibe that we San Diegan Mexican-Americans have. I was just talking to someone about this the other day- we are different from other Mexican-Americans in the state and I think it has to a lot to do with the beach culture. 😂 Also, we aren’t afraid of being bi-cultural/bilingual. I’ll hang out during the day at the beach with my White friends, then go have dinner in Tijuana with my Mexican friends. We have the best of both worlds. ❤
Todos Los Tacos with Francisco IS THE BEST SERIES ON MUNCHIES HANDS DOWN ⚡🔥
That surfer dude is so chill, I wanna be his friend 🤙🏻
When I go south to surf now I have a mission to find this taco truck. Great food combinations!
I'm pretty sure this is in mission valley and is a stone's throw from my apartment. I've always said i should try it, but I just never have for some reason. I'm going to go visit it this weekend though because of this video now
Felicidades, hermanos. La cultura Latina sigue viviendo por su herencia y raíces. Saludos desde Brooklyn, Nueva York 🇵🇷

San Diego REPRESENT! Hey fellow San Diego peeps reading this!
I've been to Kikos and it is by far the BEST Mexican seafood tacos I've ever experienced. Also their caldo that they serve in little sample cups are TO DIE FOR. I highly recommend going there for those who want a good flavor explosion in their mouths.
I concur! 😎🤙🏽
Ima need to go
El Pueblo off of Birmingham in Encinitas has the BEST fried fish taco. You put the green salsa on it and they're amazing. The best part is they're $1.29 a piece and I don't know how another restaurant could make them better
Are there more than one Kiko's Place in San Diego?
@metasocialmedia from the video, that looks like Mission/Fashion valley, which when I went, is right where it's at. Google says there's two and I remember when I went there for the second time 6 years ago, it also said two. The one I went to is across the street from the Fashion Valley Mall Trolley/Transit center, at the intersection of Friars Road and Fashion Valley Rd
Kikos after surfing is always the best 🤙
Im from Chula Vista and I love Kikos! I've been going there for a years. Took my brother from San Jose and he loves it now! Some of the best 🌮🌮 in the 619🤘🏼♥️ Gracias Mario!
This truck needs to park in front of my house.
That Baja fish taco was looking very authentic!
This spot and Tacos el Gordo are the best taco places in San Diego, hands down.
For me between the two, Kikos hands down. Just so damn good, especially their caldo that they serve in sample cups.
Which kikos is this? I’m
Familiar with 3 spots but don’t recognize this one. I know the two in mission valley and the one off Texas street
@@m3pgi16this one is on the street behind hazard center between Mission and Fashion Valley. Kinda close to the SD river. Not sure if one of the trucks you’re talking about moved or this is a new one? The one on Texas st from what I remember, isn’t a Kikos anymore.
That’s sad bc Tacos el Gordo are basic af
Best looking tacos I've ever seen inspiration on taco Tuesday. San Diego looks super cool 🌊
Kiko's even takes aguas frescas to the next level. They serve Jamaica with generous slathering of Chamoy and Tajin around the rim of the cup. So delicious and mouth watering. This video is the Mission Valley location behind Hazard Center. The Friars Road location is great too.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE CHILDREN, AND ALL PLAYGROUNDS
Los Tacos San Felipe Se Ven Deliciosos. Toda La Comida Se Ve Exquisita. Vivan Los Tacos!!!🤩😍🌮🌮💓
This was awesome! Keep it up!

Que rico la comida. Tengo muy hambre viendo eso. Saludos desde Suecia
Been there 3 times and it's fantastic 👏
That man should own a 5 star restaurant incredible food so simple
Ok this is in my top 5 favorite video files now. Well done my friends. Well done.
This was such a dope episode I just had fish tacos 🌮 last week in San Diego at this restaurant called SALUD 🍻
Wow these tacos look amazing
Yes brother!! I MISSED the other brothers and the amazing shop of family you have there. Love all you and never even met you guys!! 🤟
I’m from LA and I gotta say that San Diego puts SoCal on another level with their gastronomy. I just wanna try all the food!!
They have the same food in LA. Holbox was given best restaurant by The Los Angeles Times this year. It's also Marisco (seafood).
I’m from Northern California but ima chose LA food all day. Best Mexican, Korean & Arab food on the planet. SD does too much Tex Mex
@@ghernandez2263seriously, they put cheese and/or cream on everything.
Awwwww qué hermoso y delicioso todoooo!
Heyyyyyy, my City! Hi 👋 ya'll from San Diego, Cali 🌞🌴🏖 Y Tacos El Gordo is MY Fave Taquiza, gotta try the Taco Azteca (Nopales are yummmmy) 🌮🌵
Damn Ralphie always on point dropping dem knowledge bombs shouts out from Atlanta much ♥️⚡⚡⚡!

Kikos is legendary in the city he went to the right place
Chill af episode
Damn I miss when they were right off Texas!! Now they are right by the Chic Fil A in Mission Valley!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I went to boarding school in Ensenada and will never forget the fish tacos and salsa we got. Need to make a trip back to experience the real deal next time!
Aver pues! Time to go try Kiko’s! See it all the time but never stopped and ate there yet! Thanks for sharing and highlighting Mariscos Kiko’s
Love Kikos is the best in San Diego, gracias Paco!!!
Can't help but be stoked for Paco when he stood up surfing. Oh the tacos I'm sure were excellent. We take that for granted here in socal. My dream is to open a taco spot in south of France in Carry le rouet.
Do it dude! Europe lacks good mexican food. Will definitely check it out whenever i’m in that part of the world!
Where is this truck located? I wish it was in Encinitas!
Hola. Amigo me gustan mucho tus vídeos has más blogs de restaurantes mexicanos
what is this beach called in san diego where they went to surf
Fish tacos en ensenada !! Saludos bro !!
Eating kikos place og fish tacos and oysters as I'm watching this! RUclips suggested this video when I sat down to eat
I work right here! Love kikos, there damn near every Tuesday !
Holy cow, i drive by this truck all the time and always tell my girlfriend i should stop by and grab something from it, but I never have. I think i know where I'm going this weekend for some food now!

Happy for the coverage of kikos but damn now its gonna be hella packed 😭
Kiko’s is legit ppl if you’re ever in SD it’s a must try
Bro! Ya se nos hizo bien Surfer dude. Te podrias quedar aqui en San Diego un mez y aun si, you would miss alot! The best tamales in town are in a puestesito right outside a liquor store on 29th and University Blvd. Se me hace agua la boca pensando de un Oaxaceno alli
I pass that truck all the time, it's in mission valley
Great way to fine great food.
Don’t even remember the names but there were two dynamite taco joints in San Diego walking distance from the Embassy Suites in San Diego the last time I was there
Dope episode. But I don't think I'll be chillen on top of that electrical box.
Definitely will try Kikos when I'm down there
San Diego might not have as much as LA...but it is like Mediterranean of USA
⛪🚢
Amazing Italian restaurants 🍝
Amazing Spanish/Mediterranean architecture and navy ships ⛪ and the duality of both Tijuana and SD is like two different sides of the same coin 🌃🤞🌆
The mediterranean of the usa would definitely be florida. I like San Diego better though as I lived there a long time.
@@argaen21 Not too sure I think it's seen more as 'Tropical'?? Or even Caribbean?? Since it's so humid. We are more like desert with wildfires...
@@argaen21Florida has that mosquito swamp weather. California is Americas Mediterranean
San Diego is practically Baja Norte at this point. Orale ! Chingon
Kikos taco truck is the bomb 💣
Mario looks like he just came off the set of apocolypto
Mmmmm Tacos 🌮🌮🌮
Stay classy San Diego🍹 🌅
i used to eat a kikos back in the day when i had to go to san diego everyday the fish tacos back in the day used to only be $1
Pinchi mi Fara estrella del siglo. 💖💖💖
🌮 Taco twist: Ever wondered why tacos are typically served in pairs? Legend has it that they're like the culinary version of a high-five - a perfect way to celebrate the tasty team-up of flavors and ingredients! Double the tacos, double the deliciousness! 🌮🙌
Lol you literally just made that up. lmao
😊🙃@@soupnfresh
Kikos is not exactly close to the ocean. It's next to a Westfield strip mall in Mission Valley 😂😂
7 miles from mission beach. But I hear you.
im stayin in north san diego, near escondido for a wedding. is there any good baja fish tacos there?
Google map shows 2 kikos in sd . Are they the same?
I know this is about seafood tacos, but in San Diego lamb tacos go to El Borrego restaurant
I know the episode is seafood themed, but I hope Francisco gets to go to las quatros milpas to eat since he's down there. I think about that place all the time
Viva la mexico
And I like how the table is a twenty thousand watt transistor converter
Crispy
FRANCISCO THE NEXT HOST TO GET USED UP AND SPIT OUT, AND THEN NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN..
I would like to eat those tacos...
En que lugar está KIKOS
Hilarious .. 😂
OG Sanfe where the fish taco was born..
i used to eat at kiko's once a week man. SO sad I moved away
3:50 does anyone know what genre the background music is?
Sounds like Ska a little bit or like Funk rock too
I don't get it. Are there two Kiko's Place in San Diego owned by different people? Or are they under the same owner.
Figured out there are two different Kiko's in San Diego with different owners.
Woah those guys are so Mexican. Totally different speech pattern from Miami
But you need to come to El prieto in Chula Vista... It's better 😎
The host’s accent is so thick in English, but then it’s also really thick when he speaks Spanish. I’m so confused! I feel like he’s putting it on and laying it thick for the camera!
Makanan yang enak dan sehat🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨👍
I love cinco de mayo!
Im not mexican but for me its the shell or tortilla cooked crispy a good salsa from scratch and fresh ingredients chicken, beef, or fish onions white or red , lettuce cabbage and creme if you cant handle hot chunky salsa with frwsh cilantro. Even a lot people using pork or pork skin etc... i presume alot these are fatty so they cut it with hot spices .
One thing or few things I notice with Mexicans they like fresh hot peppers 🌶 and guacamole and beans in tacos . Which are probably cheaper down south. Also fish tacos go good with creme herb instead of salsa but they use sliced or diced tomatoes.
Only thing that sucks about fish tacos all over San Diego is that they no longer use ocean fish . They use tilapia or basa wish is sold as white sea bass because of the name , but it's actually a fresh water fish family of the cat fish. These fish don't have that same taste as the original Baja fish taco made from ocean fish . But that's the price you pay for the high prices of good quality fish that limit small businesses from being able to purchase them.
How can I get this guys job? ORALE!
BAJA TACOS RULE!
