I have the Fujitsu Halcyon (Model: ASUH18L PAS). Question: when in cooling mode the unit runs all night, is there anyway to have it turn off/on depending on room temp?
What makes the high SEER units double to triple the price of a 19 SEER? I have all 19 SEER Carrier in Mexico and I can't even find a high SEER here. Being off-grid solar, efficiency is key.
It's called short cycling ... if you have too much cooling capacity it's overkill and the unit pulls down too quickly. You also will not get proper dehumidification of the air. Best to deal with your contractor and properly size the unit so it doesn't run too much, or not enough.
I just had a ASUG09LZBS (Fujitsu) installed for my indoor wall unit, and I was wondering is there anyway to turn off the green lights on them or turn them down at least? It is so bright at night, and I really don't want to cover it with tape. If anyone knows I would greatly appreciate the help.
To dim or turn off the light on a Fujitsu ASUG09LZBS air conditioning unit, you can follow these steps: 1. Locate the control panel on the air conditioning unit or the remote control that came with it. 2. Look for a button or option labeled "Light" or with a light bulb symbol. Press this button to access the light settings. 3. If the unit has multiple brightness levels, you can press the "Light" button repeatedly to cycle through the options until you reach the desired dimness or turn off the light completely. 4. Once you've set the desired brightness or turned off the light, the air conditioning unit should remember the setting until you change it again or power off the unit. If you're unable to find the specific instructions for your model or have any difficulties, consulting the user manual for the Fujitsu ASUG09LZBS unit would provide the most accurate guidance.
I have a 19 SEER 18K Carrier mini-split. It's constantly consuming at least 2200 watts. I'm hoping this is because the idiot Mexican HVAC guys (in Mexico) do not use evacuation pumps. I'm buying my own evac pump, manifold, scale, etc and only have the HVAC technician fill with recommended weight of refrigerant. Can I replace the with two 09LZBS 33 SEER2 units and expect less power consumption? I have been told that evacuating a system and filling with proper weight is "not a thing here" in Mexico. They didn't even test for leaks and I need to call them back again.
Great video. Explains the systems & attributes & limitations.
Great video. Really appreciate the thorough review!
Excellent video! I learned a few things

Do you know if the blower wheels are supposed to rotate when the unit is running.
Hello people. What do you recommend from Fujitsu inverter air conditioner, should I take LLCE 12 or LMCE12?
I have a RLXFWH 18,000 BTU unit. Is it WiFi compatible?

That’s my problem too! I just put a white thick sticker over the light and that really helped dampen the brightness.
@markequinox yeah I think that is what I might have to do.

Buy MITSHUBISI .
junk. installed 25 systems. 5 percent failure rate
Liar
Yourr math does not add up correctly. Are you saying .25 of a second mini-split died?A 5% failure would be 1.25 unit.s
Guarantee you're lying. Or you installed them wrong
