Being that I'm Australian, I use videos of train journeys like these to learn about places in Britain. I found this series well edited and captioned. Even without the sound (which I can substitute from another source, so it really isn't missed) I enjoyed this journey.
Totally echo Sarah's comments, those were fantastic quality and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I especially loved the former stations, it's great to see them being kept in such good condition and some of them complete with goods sheds too. I wish I could say the same of Lincolnshire, very sadly a lot of our former stations are in a terrible state.
A superb set of videos. Interesting to see the infrastructure improvements made over recent years, although I miss the semaphores, and some signal boxes long gone. To the commenter about the tidiness of the stations - several are maintained and improved by the Friends of the Settle-Carlisle Line, and they have just bought Dent Station which will continue as a holiday let. Check out their website for much info on the line.
Well I am not familiar with the countryside. However you really need to see our train ' The Ghan' . Hours of entertainment going through the interior of Australia.
A wonderful 3 part adventure cheer's bob.ps every where you look in the field's all you can see are all those wonderful lamb roast's & chop's.
Many thanks

Cool, thanks!
Enjoyed all three parts of this. Have been waiting for a good quality drivers eye view of this route so it was much appreciated.
Thanks.

We have a real treat coming. We filmed on the Staycation express on probably one of the best days of the summer.

Nice video
Thanks
Another great video. I watched all three parts as soon as I could.. a lot of disused stations. Beeching, I suppose...
Glad you enjoyed it
Not all station closures were actually down to Dr Beeching. Many pre-dated him by over 10 years.
5⭐️ for Parts 1-3, all highly enjoyable. 🐨🇦🇺
Cheers.
