    I have a 1955 I inherited. It’s in exceptional condition. It looks almost new. It sat in a stable environment for decades. I don’t play it. I should sell. What should the string height be at the 12 the fret?

    What kind of strings are on that? Almost sounds like nylons...

    What tuning do you have that tenor guitar in?

      Looks like 5ths. My guess is CGDA.

      I think this guitar is tuned a "fifth" below the standard tuning .The key of the
      song is G and from bass to treble the strings are GDAE .The last chord is a G
      and with the standard tuning it would be a C maj .

      It’s GDAE, same as an octave mandolin.
