I told him Alina's dead, went outside, and the Murky Waters outdoor music started playing, all somber like, and I saw the wedding decorations (the ribbons attached to the poles) and people walking around, preparing for the wedding (I assumed that the entire village would attend it) and I imagined how they must have felt when someone told them of the sisters' deaths, and the celebration was replaced with mourning...

Remake of this beautiful game just go announced today. Let's hope CDPR can recreate the amazing atmosphere of the original, including the music and not just show us nice looking graphics
You and your friends walk into the tavern. It’s fairly bustling for such a small village, but you see a group crowding around something. You can hear music coming from the area, so you approach the group. The crowd moves away a bit so the performer can dance, giving you a good look at her. She’s very young, and she’s smaller than any tiefling you’ve ever seen. Not that you’ve seen many, but that’s besides the point. Her skin is a greyish indigo, and she has rosy pink hair, some of it at the tip of her tail as well. Her eyes are a shimmering goldenrod. She’s wearing a ruby red outfit with a pink patch on the pants. She has a pink flower hairpin and a heart shaped jewel around her neck that sparkles as she bounces around. She’s playing a fiddle that appears to be made of rosewood. She bounds around, playing her melody, taverngoers clapping to give her a beat. When she finishes, she takes several bows before bounding over to your party. “Maeve Rosewood, traveling minstrel, at your service! We rarely get out-of-towners around her. What brings you by?” She asks, the bright and cheerful smile on her face clearly heard in her voice.
Say what you want about Witcher 3 but Witcher 1 had the goddamn best atmosphere in the whole series. When it was dark it was dark but when it was chill with this music man was it chill

I truly need to see a franchise with a medieval theme, unlike the just dress accordingly and watch stupid shows, but really go there after a hard days work and behave really old. architecture must match , wood must be used. mugs should be large and ale must be strong. If its against the law to get out of there n go home driving in this day n age then the bar should have tuktuks to ride u home. in 2023 this is a genuine need.
@@blsmehdi6663 Of course, that's not what I said, but trust me that it is what I meant. 😅 Witcher 1 has and holds a theme that Witcher 3 barely manages in a few areas.

Witcher 1 is the most slavic part one the trilogy.
I still have a soft spot for the atmosphere of that game. It was never quite recaptured in following games as great as they are.
And the most book accurate witcher game
