I'm just imagining myself waking up at 10am after a good night's sleep in Beauclair in my comfortable, king sized bed with silk sheets, breathing in the fresh morning air flowing in from the slightly opened, ornamented window in the top-left corner of the room while a beautiful woman is laying next to me, still sleeping. I proceed to walk towards the window, opening it and being in awe of the architectural beauty of the city, the vibrant colors, the intense smells and the liveliness in the streets down below. There's not a single bad thought or feeling corrupting me, it's just pure peace and beauty. There are so many wonderful things to do, from playing a few rounds of Gwent while enjoying the finest wines as usual at the bar with your friends who are already waiting for you there, to taking part in the Grand Tournament on the outskirts of the city, the crowd cheering you on. Unfortunately, life is incredibly difficult and the human mind is restless and unable to reach such a state of harmony. These are ideal, unrealistic imaginations but exactly the kind of imaginations that keep us going.

When ever I hear toussaint music I just think of the tower of swallows and remember geralt and gangs journey. I remember what happened to Regis, Milva, cahir, angouleme.
To me walking through toussaint is like walking through nostalgia town, no doubt thanks to Regis and the duchess being pre-existing characters who we sense have a relationship of sorts with geralt. Plus the music is dope,I won’t pretend to know anything about music theory but it makes me feel nostalgic.

a few days ago I played this music after the grand finale of my 5-players strong pen and paper campaign. the girl had been saved, the evil duke arrested, the mystery solved and the inprisoned comrades freed. I thought of this music as fitting for the starting preperation for the upcoming feast and everyone saying their farewells.
Me and my friends started this campaign at the start of the second lockdown 2020 on skype, so everyone had something to dive into and and escape the quiet of staying at home. We finished it sitting at a big table with a great dinner and some beers to come.
In these three years some of us lost or found their girlfriends or even got married, failed orsucceded at universities, moved to new cities or countries, ended old or startet new jobs and lost loved family members or welcomed newborn members into their families. When I hear this music now I don't just think about our campaign and the heroes' journey but also about our friendship and all the good and bad things every single one of us was going through and it brings tears to my eyes every single time.
