- It’s natural to be worried about your future, your job, or your school. However, the gravity placed on certain things is inconsistent with the importance of said things. Carlos wants to discuss how people - both adults and students - take things too seriously while pointing out the benefits of being less solemn about things.
TEDxYouth@DAA 2022 marks the 10th year of TEDxYouth at Dubai American Academy. This year's theme is ‘Paradigm Shift’ - an important change that happens when the usual way of thinking about or doing something is replaced by a new and different way.
Carlos Rangel is a class of 2022 student at Dubai American Academy. In his talk, he discusses the importance and benefits of being less solemn on seemingly “important” aspects of life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
