Wow bob what other cool things do you teach... copy /paste, save as, delete....all those really cool tricks _ Cant wait to dazzle my friends with my new skills!!!!!
Nice video. Another perhaps easier formula to remember that will show growth is: ending value divided by beginning value minus 1 In your spreadsheet, it would appear as C4/B4-1 (no parenthesis).
this is true, Safeco - I'm assuming the people who watch this video are petrified of Excel, not seasoned experts. These 5 techniques make it less intimidating
The $ "locks" the reference. If you put in =B4 in cell B5 for example, and then you copy and paste that cell into B10, it will become =B9 since Excel uses relative formulas. But if you put in =B$4, and copy and paste it into B10, it stays =B$4. It locks the reference to the same row.
I Have a Printed Invoice document which is meant for dot matrix printing , I would like to know how to make specific multiple print areas thereby making a template where only the particulars that need to be filled for need be print , for example the INV NO , DATE Whic are the fields already printed need not be printed ....we are talking of ADD PRINT AREA ....i tried making a template ...but cannot print for the multiple ADD PRINT AREA ...pls advise
while it's certainly intended to get viewers Shail, the title is meant to get entrepreneurs who are not familiar with (and most likely intimidated by) Excel to get excited about using it for their business planning
a true teacher and I know for a fact Bob has a whole lot more great things that he teaches...

COOL!!!!!!!!!
instead of manually adding the dollar signs before the row and column, you should have mentioned that F4 would do it automatically
instructons not clear enough: shaved head, moved to australia, changed name, created a hit sitcom, still dont know how to excel.
yes RWAM do tell ......

you sound like CaptainSparklez :D
Don't you find it a little strange that you're giving yourself a "time's up" music crescendo? lol..
going from excel 2010 to excel 2007
Your title is a trick to get viewers
These aren't "cool tricks" as much as a beginners lesson on basic excel functions.
