I've learned to like the Aspides on the 104S back in the day. I agree it's a good missile. Together with things like a 24R, it's one of those missiles ,that even if your radar gets confused by chaff and appears to lock on to it, the missile still hits the target if it comes towards you, because it provides a "brighter" radar echo than the chaff. "Normal" SARHs, for example an Aim7E can't do this. In general, the J8 series is criminally underrated.
Highly agree on the last sentiment. I got the J8F about ~30 min after making this video so I'm hoping I love it just as much when I get a chance to fly it out!
