Yikes, its bad when Sun's anxious depressive-ing so hard that praise can't even reach him. Also, the thing about getting a vacation and Sun just going to his room to be alone and maybe sleep was the most painfully relatable thing. Incredible how this show manages to cross into the valley of 'too real' so often.
Speaking from personal experience, this is a FANTASTIC indicator of how bad Suns mental state is rn. Not that theres a single person here who didnt know that....
Also Lunar not being able to make him laugh, and when Lunar tried (and was probably eager to off screen), Sun started to act really REALLY threatening, like I got shivers at that bit. The fact is, Lunar has made Sun laugh before this arc, which is scary...This while video Sun was just acting really threatening, sad and just very eerily off.😅 Im excited and nervous for whats gonna happen!

On the topic of mental health and not delving into para-social relationships: Always good to remember Davis and EC are real people who also happen to be great at storytelling and voice acting. Though this is their job, I do genuinely believe they both have their own type of fondness for the characters they are portraying. For anyone, like myself, who uses this show as a mental health crutch it is NOT meant to be, its always good to remind yourself frequently that fantasy is fantasy and this is all just good fun. I'm thankful everyday that such talented people are making entertaining stories like this and sharing them with the world. And lets draw the line at that.

@@octuber40094 Yeah! I also feel like Sun WANTS to be affectionate with Moon but also respects his boundaries and feels to self conscious or unworthy and stressed to ask for it directly. So Sun does what he can but going along with Moons experiments, making sure he takes care of himself and not overwork, and game. But that affection and SHOWING of love or appreciation isn’t reciprocated enough, only by words occasionally and nothing else.

A lunar eclipse happen when the moon is directly behind the earth. Usually the moon is above the earth but sometimes that happens. When that happens light refracts off of earth to make the moon look red (not blue). A lunar eclipse happens all night (unlike solar eclipses happen that for about 4 minutes) and there is 2 types that have more scientific names that I can’t remember. A partial and a complete. A partial looks like part of the moon disappears while a complete one looks like the one in October. Lunar eclipses are more commonly know as blood moons (which is kinda ironic). And I could go more into blood moons but I don’t feel like it.
Extra:
Blue moons are also not blue. Usually blue moons refer to 13 full moons in a year (instead of 12) but it can also happen after a lot of ash is in the atmosphere.

That first thing you just said makes me wonder if that's why Earth got thrown in outta left field.
An eclipse is basically the moon blocking out the sun, and in the show, Eclipse is the manifestation of what Moon left behind which continues to take control of/block out Sun.
The creator talked up this whole thing about Earth being better than both Sun and Moon, and now I'm wondering if the intention was to reference a lunar eclipse.
I really hope I'm thinking too much into things and that this theory is just boloney because the brothers need a genuine break... but it fits almost too well.

What I learned today: Sun needs therapy. Get him some help. He's obviously got A pet but he feels so self conscious about it from some level that he doesn't want to talk about it or openly admit it. Sun can't "lie", but he bends the truth . I think he and Lunar need to just hang out...and maybe Sun can go talk woth that alternate universe Monty.
It's most likely he's not admitting to owning a pet because KC could just kill it if he knows it exists just to hurt the brothers more. It's for the safety of the pet.

Welcome to Theory time.Let’s get started
So my theory about the sun and moon show is that our (the viewer) ideas are the future of their life (as if it wasn’t obvious enough). What I mean by that is like how much people love a concept of another persons art and want to re-create it in their own style. Once a Lunar concept was introduced to society everyone loved it so they decided to make it in their own style and then later on in the sun and moon show Lunar was introduced. It’s also the same with Bloodmoon. Once someone introduced it everyone loved it. So he was also introduced. And by the way do you all see a connection with Eclipse? In the olden days when eclipses happened people would believe it’s a bad thing. They would believe that the Gods were angry or the World was about to end. See those 2 words I capitalized? “Gods” and “World”. When Moon and Lunar went to the “Eclipse won” timeline, Eclipse had already destroyed the World and basically became God. Are you getting it now? The Eclipse matter had been somehow tied to what people believed back many, many years ago. So anyways back to the main topic. You guys remember the Solar experiment right..? I and I believe many other people has mentioned Solar. Solar is in the making right now as we speak! And Earth? She too is being made! Everything of our concept and creations are coming to life in their universe! So maybe if you came up with a random concept that everyone would love. It would magically exist in their world! But hey..THATS JUST A THEOR- ok bye I am gonna go watch ItsFunneh videos.
Well my concepts are of a darker adult variety and I largely believe sun's actually guilty of neglecting moon and that he actually had duty of care towards him since moon was stuck in sun's body also moon was clearly in a position where if sun actively abused him then he would be screwed and I get very annoyed that sun's got the Mary sue trait of things never being his fault even when it really should be and I'm so damn annoyed at moons inuniverse hate sink status and how sun's automatically the sweet one these new acts seemed shoehorned in cause sun wouldn't have assumed that moon wanted to hurt sun,moon would not have needed to breakdown screaming ""I don't wanna be stuck again and sun would not have said that everything is your fault months later if he found moon being terrorfied of going to sleep. Also I Find it really offensive that some people are saying moons abusive because of what's essentially being an introvert and maybe being autistic as well cause there's nothing more autistic then the special interest of interdimentional travel and to me moon was littrally giving sun whole new worlds.
Sorry I went on a bit of a rant I did not intend to it's just that to me they made early sun be a whiny privilaged white guy and now there shoehorning him caring just so everyone can keep calling moon an abuser just cause he's not at sun's beck and call.

Moon talking about his PTSD when they first separated really hit hard. As someone who also suffers from PTSD and panic attacks, that whole moment just made me wanna give Moony a virtual hug.

The fact that Lunar likes metal is surprising but interesting! His aggressive response to the favorite brother question got a good laugh out of me, that was just precious haha. The editor answering questions they missed got a good chuckle out of me, specifically the “touch grass” answer, lol. I also like the try not to laugh videos too, that’d be really neat to see! Markiplier always had such a tough time surviving them, it’d also be neat to see where Sun, Moon and Lunar’s sense of humor lie at.
