Dont understand all the SENA countries having SL series before playing a series in ind to prepare, The spin in both countries is very differnt, so its not a good preparation for ind anyway and SL could beat you on their pitches so its bad for the confidence
Ya even most indian batters failed against the sri lankan spinners recently lol. The ball seems to be turning A LOT MORE in Sri lanka lol. Heck India is vulnerable in rank turners in India.

Bumrah will play 1 Bangladesh test, 2 new Zealand test, 4 Australia test, 4 england test he will play 11 out of 14 tests , he will get 6 wickets match he will have 164+66 = 230 wickets, imagine he retires at 35 he will still get 3 and half year to get another 120 wickets my guess will be 350 wickets in test
Its not brave cricket, its just that batting gets way easier in india at about 40 overs, thats why the 6,7,8 of ind always make runs.

Many of the team would probably try to make another 50-60 and try to get 250+ run but ash and jadeja decided to hit fast and go pastt 300+.
Anything above 250+ would have been good for india when they were down at 150-6

Only Sidney Barnes has a lower average than Bumrah after 150 wickets. I think it would be fair to call Bumrah an all time test great when he gets to 250 wickets. He’s never going to get the crazy volume of some of the other test greats simply because of his workloads in the others formats and the IPL. We also have to factor in that his production is always going to be hampered somewhat by virtue of the fact that he’s Indian and he’s not always going to get favourable conditions in home tests. Nonetheless he has shown that he can take wickets in all conditions and phases in his short test career so far. The other all time great contenders from this generation are Cummins and (you forgot to mention) Rabada.

@@KICK839 I don’t put Starc on the same level. He’s a specific conditions/phase bowler and he averages 28 (good but not great).
