Lots of actress have acted while wearing bikinis. Why couldn't they make it work for Lynda Carter? Was it just bad tailoring or was there something odd about her body?
I don't really have a favorite costume but I do have a favorite costume change over. Its from "My Teenage Idol is Missing". Its the only time you see her change from the Diana Prince to the new 70's costume in that location and then keeps spinning to change to the motorcyle outfit. There is one where she changes from Diana to the WW costume and then continues to the diving outfit, but the brief view of the regular 70's costume is not in the same location as she was when she starts and ends the spin. I guess if I had to say any one costume it would be when she is back in the 1940's where she is wearing the 2nd skirt with the partial star field on blue with the cape. I think it's from "Last of the Two Dollar Bills' and "Judgement from Outer Space".
I saw "Wonder Woman" from its 'pilot', t.v. movie version in 1975 & loved it! However, after the first year's WWII episodes, I started to lose interest in the current 1970's versions, but still watched, to see the beautiful Lynda Carter! Her gorgeous body made any of her costumes look great, but the public was denied the pleasure of seeing that two-piece bikini, even in this video!
One detail they didn't mention was the disappearing & reappearing heels on her boots. When she jumps, no heels. After she lands, heels appear again. Also, when she runs, no heels. When she walks or stands, heels reappear.
I really enjoyed seeing her as a guest star on Supergirl, dropping in a few Wonder Woman nudges here and there. Back in the day her good looks surely were a key factor - but Wonder Woman always offered more than just being a gorgeous lady; so too did Lynda Carter.
It was a complete travesty that Patty Jenkins chose to ignore Linda for the re-boots. We got a little fan service in WW84 but that was not enough to save the movie.
Interesting video🙂; anyway I’ve watched part of a rerun of that Wonder Woman episode where Roy Rogers guest starred, and it used appear on the syfy channel; before they changed their logo into what it is now.
Kudos to her for wearing those costumes and being faithful to the comics without fear. That is truly empowerment. Now as to why the comics drew her that way, well, the guy was horny. But she really should've had a better designed dress because it is basically a bad dress for action/battle etc. Still, I'm glad they did it well even in the recent WW movies which I enjoyed a lot

However, after the
first year's WWII episodes, I started to lose interest in the current 1970's versions, but still
watched, to see the beautiful Lynda Carter! Her gorgeous body made any of her costumes look
great, but the public was denied the pleasure of seeing that two-piece bikini, even in this video!
Do we have any footage of the costumes falling off? I need to see this! :D
Lol, naughty!
Wonder Woman was my first celebrity crush. Even before Farrah Fawcett in her famous red swimsuit. I had that poster on my wall for months.
I watched that show wondering how it stayed on.
Any costume Lynda Carter wears is my favorite!
