You know what's funny? I loved seeing this as a kid, then I thought it was cheesy low grade FX watching reruns on TV as an adult, but seeing it now in remastered clean HD.... this was actually a really cool transformation special effect that holds up really well given the limited FX technology of the 70's. As GoGo mentioned, probably the best superhero transformation concept ever done on film or TV. I like the slow mo one without the flash of light better but they're both really good.

What an iconic show, having one of the most beautiful woman ever to portray this DC superhero. Season One was the best of the three!

Not disagreeing. Gal Gadot has taken over the tiara. I have a feeling Lynda was rooting for Adriane Paleski. She still looked stunning. The conceptvand idea for that TV WW that never made it, ill just never know why i did not hit the screen.
Gal Gadot is no Lynda Carter. No comparison because Lynda Carter will always be the best and only Wonder Woman that epitomizes feminine strength without trying too hard to outperform a man and naturally beautiful. Not "feminist-men-are-stupid" type.

I always wondered why they never showed Wonder Woman turning back into Diana Prince. I think they did one time but that was it.
One time only, but you don't see her turning back fully on screen.
Patrick Maruniak thry did 1 time I think in firs season it was a slow spin I hated it
Funny they never used the spin in the comics for her to change or if they did it was for a homage to the TV show
@@mark-s Actually, they did one time from what I can recall. I can't remember what issue it was or when. It could have been late '70s or early '80s.

I love the inconsistency of the transformation. I like the explosion the best.
You know what's funny? I loved seeing this as a kid, then I thought it was cheesy low grade FX watching reruns on TV as an adult, but seeing it now in remastered clean HD.... this was actually a really cool transformation special effect that holds up really well given the limited FX technology of the 70's. As GoGo mentioned, probably the best superhero transformation concept ever done on film or TV. I like the slow mo one without the flash of light better but they're both really good.

I many years, I have been completely inspired by the character Princess Diana, Diana Prince, Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter...(wife, mother, daughter, actress, singer songwriter.
I was inspired by the Character of and Goodness, compassion, kindness, empathy, sincerity and Good Will towards Humanity, shown in the series, and well, Lynda Carter, herself, she has displayed Courage, Encouragement, Resilience, Fortitude, Compassion, and having the Spirit to moving forward with Positivity, and Strength, despite any unpleasant circumstances.
She continues to be a Positive influence to millions of people...

I like how she always did the same thing (back when she transformed without the light) when she transforms, after transformation she'll touch her belt then her headband/crown thingy.....
My 1st woman crush as a little kid, so beautiful graceful and always a Lady even as Wonder Woman. If I could get ready for work with a spin, I'd never be late.
