I happened to listen to the instrumental version of this song today on the bonus CD of the album and suddenly realised that the composition and sequencing are in a technological league of their own, not to mention the delicious choice of layered blending of sounds. I can't help but melt in to the music. Thank you Imogen for this truly beautiful piece of art.

hey, remember when Ellipse wasn even out yet? but First Train Home had been released and there was a lot of buzz of excitement going throughout the Heap fans? that was brilliant, just the excitement and everyone ramming on about it. *sigh* good times XD still in love with this song, especially the "What Matters" part, still my fave part of the song. Ellipse is wonderful still, cant stop listening to it.

That's a relief, I though that Immi did a good job performing but all the back round stuff looks like a college student did it in the 80's when people awe-struck with just getting an image to move. But now it is 2009 and I'm glad that Immi is making another one :)

all of her songs are so mellow and quiet, relaxing. First time I heard her, i was thinking to myself, when she gonna start to play loud? But then I heard more and more of her songs, and heard that all her songs are fairly quiet, and there's no climax in her music, but it doesn't need a big point, cuz it's still good anyway
