I had and still have bad habits which make the game less enjoyable, I wouldn't want new players to see this and go down the same path I did.
Seeing people use these dark arts in casual games aka anything unranked, makes me feel so mad XD though I recommend you organize all dark arts into a playlist so they are easier to access.

Its the perfect scapegoat for someone with a glass ego. Its the other players abusing a "bug" (intended feature) so I cant possibly be in the wrong right :^)
I feel like shit like this is just lame honestly. If someone needs techs like this to go pro, then they shouldn’t be pro. Why would you have to make your attacks impossible to read if you had good game sense and could parry your opponents attacks. Moves like this are just boring for the user and the defender

People use feints and people fall for feints, furthermore drags and accels can be used to get around someone's defense but at least they can be seen and with good reflexes can be blocked.
@@TempleTips. there's a reason why there's a technique called chamber-ftp. People falling for feints is because they can't react to it, i.e. it's "unreactable" to them. You want things to be unreactable, otherwise you may as well replace this whole system with a single button which you press when the screen flashes green. Whoever is fastest wins.

@@kgdw.2k919 a "wessex" is a term for abusing riposte animations and camera. a wessex can technically be performed from any angle. not just underhand. my biggest problem with this is the misunderstanding from Spiriteds video where he covers wessexs but refers to them with different names; aka "cucumber" and "pickle". i personally think that we should not call game mechanics foods, it's rather silly :D

Thats why removing the game was the only valid reaction one month ago. The game is at first sight nicely done and fun, but in depth and if you want to get better I want an balanced game not this cringe. Because of this the game just hasnt a competitive scene you can take seriously. Its a trashy game for fun and memes but not more. Dia 2 player speaking here.
Game is pretty balanced except for 1 or 2 weapons, anyone can learn any swing manip so that’s also balanced, you can also learn how to counter that swing manip, you clearly haven’t played high level duels man

Some accels are instant witout a Chance to parry (netcode or Animation, dont know. Example: Messer). In flinched state (example here axe with alt Mode) you get in flinched state and can nor chamber or run away, so of the enemy faints or morphs that overpowered accels your in a guessing game 50/50. Thats no balance. Thats a lot of nice ideas that went Shit after not having the ressources or the willing rounding it up. Like I said, its at a certain point Just "learning" what devs messed up. And thats not skill and not balanced. Its a meme game. Its nothing Like seriously competetive or balanced. Its Just a joke. I hoped it would get better but it stays on the ground with a small player Base and not as much ressources as it could have with more quality. But at all at the current state its exactly where it belongs.

Thats no balance, thats first of all bad work of the devs or maybe they even want it that way. The game Provides a balance that was planed, but the reality distinguishes so much from what the devs one day thought it wold be. I repeat: The meta is learning Animations, that could look more better like they do now. And thats not Just stabs. Underhand swings and weapons like the maul or eveningstar Just instahit in your face but should be slow weapons. (Skill/Bill)-hook ist floaty and very strange. That cant be the current state after some years. Im pretty disappointed since last Patches dont improve anything.
