    Biggest problem with mordhau for me is down-up strikes with polearms because the fucking polearm always clips into the floor and I can't analyze what the hell is happening.

    bruh accels be quick as a bullet on some of these weapons. I don't understand how you can be good at this game, literally. How do you hardread some of these swings, how can you not panic parry when swings will literally hit you within 0.3 seconds after a riposte. Then they'll make it look like their gonna hit you within those 0.3 seconds, but then do a drag that takes a light year to hit you. I'm convinced it's all gamble reading and risk taking. You can't actively be good at this shit, it's impossible

      The thing with ultra accels is you have to parry them before they land otherwise youll get a red, but if you do that they can just do a drag and you get hit either way, the game is literally all about gambling

      The kick should be quickier for the majority of situations, but still the game resumes to animations brokens and swing manipulations, all glitches

      @@Jojocapalooza u dont even have time to kick in almost any situation anymore, high lvl play is literally ultra accels, toe drags and broken drags that clip into your viewmodel but actually hits you later

    Do a video on ”wyman” or whatever it is called where you over Accel and spin around and hit them with the end of the swing. Would be nice to see when to use it as well (people who run into your attack and parry early probably)

      to be fair the game could have accurate fucking animations that shit didn't look like it made sense at all. When you parry looking center you character raises the weapon and tilts it downward and to the left with the arms extended and bent, This looks like the fucking attack and parry are the same animation.

    More fear mongering as per usual, leave the bhook alone.
    EDIT: You can avoid half of this if you stopped either going into swings and did the basic hold s, or even better since I assume you got the knowledge of it, walk away from the release phase. But go on, new players will love to see "oooh spooky" instead of "how do I reduce the spooky".

      The fuck are you talking about? That's a halberd, my guy. Your advice on footwork doesn't really make sense either.
      You can't just "walk away" from most swings, unless both parties are playing the distance game. Even new players can easily intuit that holding W while swinging is a great way to make sure your strike is in range of the target.
      Backing away from a max drag is also a bad idea, because your party input has to be insanely delayed, or otherwise you get hit. Not to mention the camera fuckery that happens with max drags, as this video clearly shows the weapons clipping through the viewmodel. The only real way to handle drags like that is to hard read it, and walk into it. That way the parry timing is at least somewhat consistent.
      Also doesn't help that the game's netcode is just dogshit. I've gotten 0ms red parries before, at 60-70 ping. In a game where a single hit decides fights, unexpected inconsistencies in parry timing can really break the game's tension. I also think that some of the max drags might actually be due to lag, and not player tech.
