The ‘offer to work for free’ thing is surprisingly rare but great advice. I took a gamble and emailed a company I covered in my psychology BSc to ask if I could come work for them for free and they gave me a paid gig as a trial. 16 years later and I’m now Managing Director. In all those years not one person has attempted the same thing.
This video pushed me to start a blog and a RUclips channel (amongst all of Ali’s other side hustle videos ( especially the one with his friend who went for a job interview & it turned out they already knew about her blog)). It was difficult trying to get over the fear of what other people might think but I finally got sick of thinking “what if” & figured I just freaking do it. It’s been extremely rewarding as I’ve developed both my editing and writing skills. If anyone else is still considering it, I highly encourage you to just start, even if you don’t have an exact vision. I’m still unsure about the direction I want to take my blog and channel so I’m sharing what I’m interested in.
That's it. I am starting my own website/blog, documenting the upcoming final year in my masters, my thoughts and process of starting my own RUclips channel, and working on my masters thesis. I will also try and get over my perfectionist mentality, and just write something, anything, and improve as I continue on the journey. Thank for another great video, Ali!

Not robbed - he was burgled. When you are robbed, it's basically threatening you to give up your stuff (e.g. on gunpoint or knifepoint) with you knowing. Burglary(and theft) is when you don't know it happened(i.e. in the middle of the night or when you were away).

I just want to open a store, like a small grocery store. People always need food, even if it's just chips and water. There is always a market for that.
You sometimes do not need to fail if you follow those who have failed and learned from those failure. Getting their mentorship and guide could save you from failing and if at all you're going to fail - it will be failing forward which I see more as learning and not failing

I started a recent series called “Small Business Sunday” where I document local business’ with my camera and create a final film. I love this, it is how I run my business that is not online. I am so passionate about chemical free cleaning, I share my information for free. I also charge an hourly rate that some people baulk at but as a whole service, like end of lease clean, I am often half or sometimes even a third of what others charge because I am so quick yet thorough.

You sometimes do not need to fail if you follow those who have failed and learned from those failure. Getting their mentorship and guide could save you from failing and if at all you're going to fail - it will be failing forward which I see more as learning and not failing

The Internet is an amazing place to reach people worldwide, but don’t neglect the power of being a person of value in your local community. I started a recent series called “Small Business Sunday” where I document local business’ with my camera and create a final film. The ROI has actually been a lot higher than I expected, and in return has drastically improved Word of Mouth. Creating physical change is extremely underrated
I’ve been thinking about this too for my local small business like those who make and sell at festivals.

I love this, it is how I run my business that is not online. I am so passionate about chemical free cleaning, I share my information for free. I also charge an hourly rate that some people baulk at but as a whole service, like end of lease clean, I am often half or sometimes even a third of what others charge because I am so quick yet thorough.

Firstly, sorry to hear about the car robbery incident but fair play to you. I appreciate your approach to the situation. You've come up against a (by normal standards) shitty scenario. Instead of dwelling, you've decided to use it as a creative exercise and provide valuable content. It baffles me. This is the framework aspiring creators need to use. Not only get started but to do well but, only a few people will act on your advice and worse yet, complain they don't know how to start. I had that same insight with Gary.

Wow; i guess Morales Camila is now a popular person; i used to work 3 jobs here in Stamford but when i heard about this; i invested my savings of 2,350 USD to startup and have made up to 15,455 USD in just 2 months.
I hardly have time to focus on managing my investment and work; am glad Mrs. Morales Camila is my portfolio manager; ever since she took over management of my investment; i have made up to 95,230 USD in 8 months with an initial startup of 6500 USD.
I now have my own restaurant business after retirement here in Mexico.
