- Before Christmas, I traveled with my family up to Exmouth to snorkel the Ningaloo Reef and explore the Canyons for some landscape photography.

In this week's Landscape Photography vlog, we take a glass-bottom boat over to some of the Ningaloo Reef and snorkel to discover the different types of fish and coral that inhabit the area.
Then I take a 4x4 track through Shothole Canyon the explore the ancient reef that once was there.
On this trip, I had an opportunity to use the new NiSi V7 kit with a redesigned locking mechanism that makes it easier to use. I also used the improved True Colour Circular Polarizer that's now available.
In addition to the CPL, I mounted a 0.9 soft grad reducing the light over the cliffs and providing an even exposure across the scene, allowing me to capture the image in one shot.

Awesome mate. There has to be a day when I’m sat next to you in that truck exploring that stunning country.
Loved seeing the footage from Ningaloo! So so beautiful. There’s something about the rich colours of the bush, especially in the more remote places. Thanks so much Andrew.
Happy New Year, Andrew. Thanks for another great video.
Lovely image as usual😀
Total solar eclipse is going to run through Exmouth in Apr 2023. Hope you get a chance to get back there to see it. The landscape and the eclipse would be amazing to shoot.
This looks like a fantastic area to explore both with family and also the other family .. the camera gear :-) great vlog mate ! I also have the nisi v7 to review and so far it looks great !!
Always informative Andrew, I have bought myself a Nisi S6 to fit my Nikon 14-24 hope to get out soon
Only have a Nisi 6 stop and 10 stop at this stage so bracketing for now until budget improves :)

Great vlog Andrew, what a perfect day, boat ride, snorkelling, some 4WD, and landscape photography. Love the landscape there, I need to do some travel in WA, great colours. I’ve been using the V7 and loving it too, nice and easy to use and the polariser is top notch! Nice image mate! Would love to use the GFX system one day. Happy new year too (albeit a bit late) 👍
Looking forward to your 100s video. How have you found shooting with the 32-64 as only lens? How much has your Post workflow changed with 100mp files and film simulations? Tony NZ
Beautiful. Went to Exmouth about ten years ago and managed to somehow pop the underwater camera out of its housing and straight into the ocean on the first day. Game over.
Anyway, that crater looks very interesting. Can't wait to get back up there.
On a different subject, have you tried astrophotography with the Fuji? I could imagine it being perfect, if a bit pricey.
Cheers and thanks from the South Coast 🐟
Nice image you captured there Andrew, the colour of hues in the sky were beautiful. In terms of the Nisi filter system you were demonstrating, does the polariser fit different attachments if you have different lens diameters. Was trying to figure out how it worked compared to the likes of Lee with the 100mm foundation kit
The polariser locks into the main 82mm adapter, but the main adapter can be used with step up rings, it comes with 67, 72 and 77mm step up rings (others can be bought I guess) 👍
