@RishabJaink
Thank you so much. I’m one of your avid followers.
Hope you find time to read my question.
I’m a freshman, currently attending a new private high school (4 years old) and only has a small number of students. Will this be counted as one of the factors that might affect my application to the top universities?
thank you
As mentioned in the video, schools submit a secondary school report (usually prepared by your guidance counselor). This is something that lists what types of classes are available, what the student body is, etc. This helps the college/AOs get a better idea of what your school is like. You can read on Harvard's website for more info. I hope this helps!
Thank you so much.
Thank you Rishab for the advice!
awesome your videos are so helpful and thanks for posting cool opportunities in your ds server

Great video!
Rishab!!! You are so inspiring to me!! I am trying to start my own research with professors near my area. Thank you for inspiring me. :)
I'm so glad! Thank you for your support, and I wish you the best of luck with your research.
First! Love your videos Rishab! Keep the hard work!
Hey Rishab, I am a freshman in high school this year and we are currently picking classes for next year. My high school is partnered with the local university in my town and allow students to take classes there, many students even earn their associates degree before they graduate from high school. I was wondering if you thought that taking more of these early college classes will look better to prestigious university's than AP classes and which ones would benefit me more in the long run.
W Rishab with the IRO confirmation yessir
I have all these goals like winning ISEF, doing research, winning math and science olympiads and getting into a top college. But I'm already in year 9 now nor do I have enough time (4 years left) and the mentality to do it. I'm not self-driven but willing to do the hard work.
you have time man most people start research projects in 9th/10th grade
What kind of tech stack can i learn during school?
when will you get the real admission file ?
How do I find research opportunties in high school, for college, that are good for ivy league?
I want to consult a question is do you force to take a SAT or ACT test before apply to Harvard, or they are focusing on your talents...
How did you get into those international Science and Engineering competition?
isnt there a max number of 3 ref letters + one from your school counselor for Harvard? how did you submit more?
but how did u submit research as supplementals?? options are only arts, choreography and performance... for harvard at least
how did you even get the opportunity to work with professors?
Yes sir
Rishad😂😂😂 after my application deadlines, I got a research opportunity with the head of research in the three ranking university in my country, m working for my government as a research, and am working with an international company to build a robot… after the application deadline 😂😂 got rejected flat out😂😂 how do I explain???
Oh.. I got all these opportunities after getting rejected ****…. I don’t think I can wait for the next application season🥲🥲
That’s 😂😂😂😂😂 sooo 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think you should write another email to them from the same address stating this thing. It'll not only enhance your profile, but also make them realise that they are your priority and you so want to go to the school.
thx
As a high schooler, sophomore in fall, I worry that if I put in all this effort and work to get into Harvard and devote my remaining child years to it that if I don’t get in it will end up leaving me a depressed mess.
Chase your goals! What you need to remember is there are so many great schools that arnt Harvard. Make sure that Harvard isn’t your only goal, adding some other top 50 schools will help to. I’ve been going through this also (Cornell for me) but shoot for the moon and you might hit a star. Good luck on your college journey!
Just registered for the IRO Rishab 🙌🏽
wow i didnt know AOs did that 6:40
hi rishab i have a question! i am a freshman at a stem high school that only offers associate degree and DE classes, i wanna get into a top college. should i transfer to my home school and take ap classes my sophomore year
You should do what makes more sense for your personal goals! If you think an Associate’s degree would help you in your career etc. go for it! Colleges allow you to submit transcripts from DE classes and would consider it. At the same time, many colleges accept AP credit and would allow you to skip some courses or graduate early.
Yeah thank you. My dream school has always been yale and i see many people taking AP classes to get into the ivy league. That’s one of the main reasons I want to switch schools.
I want to study biology in college on the pre med track
Dude limmytalks reviewed your application
for computer science, what research opportunities in high school are there
A lot of my friends who are CS majors who did research in high school did Applied CS research. In other words, they would work on problems in environmental science, biology, or astronomy using CS algorithms (i.e. new data processing techniques, machine learning, etc.)
I would recommend watching some of my other videos which talk about how high schoolers can cold email professors and get summer opportunities!
@@RishabJainKcould you please go further on the Applied CS research, I’m trying to do some over the summer?
hi
