Honestly, it’s so satisfying to be able to understand the majority of a French conversation with any subtitles or help.
This is absolutely brilliant, Alexa! It's so hard to find teaching content at this level. I have to speak French at work, so the more opportunities I have to practise, the better.
One of the best teacher ever!
Your better than my French teacher! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
These type of videos are great! I understand about 95% of what my French immersion teachers say in class at a B1 level but I understand almost nothing while listening to people on the street talking everyday French in the little town of Sancerre. Thank you so much for these audio lessons and those within your webs site. I watch a mixture of French educational videos on line and you and your team are my favorite. Vous êtes les meilleurs!
You're the best French teacher ever!
Agree
OTHERS ARE GOOD TOO.
@@captainamericaamerica8090 Yeah but she is the best one tho!
You are the greatest teacher ever
It's funny how you say phone numbers are hard, but that was one of the few things I actually understood the first time around.
how did you just summarize this video for me?!
I got it too except for 98.
My favourite teacher in French Merci
Dear Ms. Alexa. I’m Brazilian, and an American by naturalization. Just in case, better for all French beginners classes be teaching with little or shorts sentences .
Garry, subscribe to her channel. She has been teaching on line for years. She has dozens of beginner videos. Dozens of conjugation videos. She changes up her videos once in awhile. Best of luck. Bonne chance. 🇫🇷
She is an excellent teacher
J'adore tes vidéos surtout quand il y a dialogues. Merci.
Thank you Alexa, much appreciated
Thanks a million. Most helpful.
this's soooooo goooooooood pls post more vid like this . it's really helpful
You would be happy to know that I understood around 60% of the dialogue in the first time itself ☺️
Moi aussi
Superb! You never disappoint!
thank you . you are great.
Thank you professeur
Merci!
Excellent video, Madame. Tres utile
Ç'est magnifique! Real life situations with helpful contextual vocabulary. J'adore!
Love this Alexa, thank you. I've been living in France for over 3 years and I'm doing your course. I'm at lesson 19 so high A2 but I find understanding French conversations difficult so these kinds of videos are great for me. I understood about 60% though:)
When I listened first time i was confused by "vol" but wondered if it was something other than "flight".
Thank you.
Merci
Merci beaucoup!
voila. I watch French movies on Netflix with French subtitle. Most important part is understanding spoken French. We can reply avec short sentenced.
Merci beaucoup
Thanks!
You're very welcome and thank you very much 😁
Another learning in this video
Thanks Alexa 🥰
I’m from England, so I know a lot of French expressions and words already. But, I would really I’ve to be fluent or have a good conversation in French at least 😊❤️
I know the world is very English now, but I really do want to try and make an effort to speak another language, and French is the closest to English. 💜🇬🇧🇫🇷
Exactly the kind of stuff that I personally need to boost my little French!
Love these dialogue listening and breakdowns.
Thank you . mam I am from India 🇮🇳🙏
I've seen many foreigners learn French, and realized that a major difficulty is that written and spoken French sometimes seem to be two different languages. I happen to think that the main advantage of being born a French speaker is that I did not have to learn French as a foreign language.I
Indeed! as a dominantly english speaker- learning french, i definitely have an extraordinarily hard time listening and translating french- from people on the streets. Writing? super easy
Merci. J'étudie chaque jour. A bientôt.
Its amazing..... I am from bangladesh😍😍😍😍
Yes thank you so much Alexa .. without subtitles i was able to understand a lot of it
Hi alexa. J'aime tousjour cet exercice.
French is easy for us today
Merci beaucoup! That was a very useful exercise. I'm a beginner and when I first listened to it I understood the topic of the conversation and almost half the details. It was thanks to my spanish though :)
Bonjour, Ma'am
Do you take private tuition classes?
I understood all of it.
Who?
Le dialogue est très bon pour notre pratique.
Merci bien. (Vous serez content que j'ai compris 70% du dialogue.)
Yay, I understood everything except for the telephone numbers LOL
Tu es la meilleure Alexa🥰😍😍
No , je ne pense pas c’etait pour le niveau b1 parce que , j’ai compris facilement
Merci beaucoup
J'ai appris plus de vous deux Toi et Duolingo ❤️
Bonjour
Merci Alexa
Alexas is literally the best French teacher on RUclips. These videos are great!
I understand more than 80%
Bonjour Alexa, super utile, merci :)
Merci beaucoup pour cette nouvelle et superbe leçon et thème d' ajourd'hui pour apprendre et comprendre meilleur comment lire et écrire en français, thanks a lot this new and great lesson and theme of today for learning better to read and write in french language
Madam Alexa Bonjour,
Do you have any book about what taught us, if there it is can you suggest us, Merci Madam☺☺☺
The way you said how much did you understand the conversationAnd I was gonna say zero I didn’t understand anything
The main difference between the French and English translation would be that in England you couldn't find a police station as they are all closed down, so you'd have to call the police telephone number for non-urgent crimes. After 3 hours waiting to connect, you'd be told by an office administrator (not an actual police officer) either a) "so what if your wallet was stolen, what do you expect us to do about it, happens all the time!! or b) "That is not a crime it is a civil matter, stop wasting our time" (all crimes except perhaps murder are now a private 'civil' matter in England) or c) ok, thank you for notifying us, the crime has been recorded on our database, and so the case is now closed. Goodbye." 😂
now translate all that into French!
@@naomifield1475 Haha - I wish I could! n'est pas possible pour moi!
Well, if I have not seen the title, I would not know what's happening... but, from the first listening, I understood that the lady ask for the man's number; the lady is asking for the description; the man describe something as tall (grand); I think that's it, hahaha! about 10% of what's happening... need to brush up more...
Thank you so much I consider myself A2, the first time around I understood the gist of it, I understood that a man was reporting his wallet was taken by somebody and that he gave the description of the man. Then with your deep dive I understood much better :-)
Bonjour Alex - I love your youtube lessons and think you are an excellent teacher. But I'm going to take issue with you and all the other comments below on this one. I have been learning French for a number of years and have always struggled with my oral comprehension but I understood 99% of this dialogue first time. It is NOT B2/C1 or even B1...maybe A2. All the words were clearly articulated (unlike normal spoken French) with only one or two new words for me which were easily guessed. I only wish that everyday spoken French was as easily understood as this!
Merci!
I just went to buy the 1 year subscription on your website, but I think the BASTILLEDAY discount has finished?? :( any idea when the next sale would be?
C1 level? I understood almost everything and I'm A2
Wow...that was hard...someone is looking for someone at a station?
I would say: Je vous tiendrai au jus :)
I ONLY KNOW WE! WE!😩😩😩
😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nothing....I got nothing
