When I was in school in the 50s and 60s we pledged the flag every morning and the anthem was on speaker then you could bow you head and pray if you wanted to.
When I was in school it was. We stood with our right hands over our hearts, and we pledged allegiance to the American Flag. We also said a prayer before school started. I am now 56, will be 57 this Novenmber. This country has definitely changed for the worse. We need to put God back in our schools, prayers, the National Anthem, and the song as well. If we don't, this country will fall, or die. Our history, True history has been taken out of schools, the true studies is gone. The kids and young people of today are Not learning what they should be learning. Instead, we have had More school shootings, fights, and such since they took God and prayer out of our schools. I hate it for the kids of today. We may have had some few fights, but Never a gun, knives, or anything of that nature in schools. Check the history and take a Long look and you'll see the difference between then and now. Sad but true, and people today say it's lies, no it's not. We need to pray for our country and children. ♥️🙏🇺🇸🙏♥️

It’s made me so angry 😡 they don’t have the right to stop the singing National Anthem!
So I think it’s important that we should try focusing on the facts first before we jump to conclusions about how undemocratic it’s that the left liberals are forcing children not to be able to sing in statutory hall.
Either on purpose, or with complete disregard for rules and regulations, the organizers did not notify the capital police or anyone else that they were performing in an area that does not allow gatherings without prior approval.
This is just another example of the tactics of the right wing Republican fascist party and news organizations looking to create negative news, trying to say that we’re denying the right for our children to sing the national anthem.
The Capital police simply enforced the rules currently in place at statuary hall.
Why should they be considered different than a bunch of friendly peaceful protesters with signs? so if you cannot allow protesters peacefully standing together, it is the same as allowing children beautifully singing together as a group… Equal enforcement for everyone!
Had the organizers properly planned with the appropriate paperwork and approvals could’ve asked permission and may have been approved to make this performance….but no….the right wing Republicans have to exploit this as another deterioration of America.

Their choir director said that they are a Christian choir & that they did as they were asked! The, woman who told them not to continue singing, knows that they are not "demonstrating!" She's a person who hates this country & I doubt that any visitor of the capitol was offended!
