I'm a white woman and I was drinking the kool-aid as most of us were, by watching main stream media.
In 2017 after deleting a friend from my facebook for speaking on Trump's behalf, I asked myself why would I do that and why so much hate?
So I decided to research and investigate on why people voted for Trump and darn if I didn't went through the rabbit hole...
I felt so ashamed of my behavior and my intolerance on other people's choices and realized that the whole freedom of speech only worked when it was something I agreed on.
A couple of years later and I'm feel more freedom that I ever felt, no more hate, intolerance and more than anything the ability to hear all sides of the story... and how much I've learned from it!
We'll never evolve if we only hear from one perspective.

I'm so impressed by the changing of everyone's views. I'm not sure I understand why so many people were against Trump especially since he had so many friends and close connections and support from different people of color and ethnic backgrounds. In addition, I think for our foreign policies and connections, he worked in our favor being president because of his previous dealings and communications with these foreign entities.

White male in Louisiana had a 45 min conversation about Trump with a fellow black landlord from NOLA just a few days ago. He brought up economy and how he voting for Trump first. Nothing but mutual concern, respect, and defending each others right to free speech. Both agreed media and party trying to divide us. Who knows what would happen if we could unite.
