Would you ever consider doing a specialised shade swatch? There are so many shadowing options with warmer/cooler variants, that it would be useful, especially to beginner colourists who may wish for more lilac, steel blue, rose grey or mossy green looks, but struggle to create them. A swatch that shows and names the initial colour choices, with a central blend would prove valuable to so many. Thank you.
I could watch your crayola coloring videos forever! One cool thing I've found is that an alcohol blender works amazing after the first layer is down. The crayola set works beautifully with a blender because it isn't as waxy as the prismacolor set (which was the set I bought the blender for initially). Thankyou for sharing your time and talent as always 👍😁❤
I love that you inspire interest in the lowly Crayolas and show us how we can get them to perform like a better pencil. I’m obsessed with Arteza 120 right now-the blends I’m getting are insane!-but I’m getting out the Crayolas today!
Hi Pamela thank you for this. I am a newbie adult colourist and so many of the video are comparing pencils marker etc I just want to see the process not what to buy. I buy in my price range and using Faber Castell pencils. Now I want to see how to use them so thank you xx
Thank you for this video.. I've been finding myself thinking in three's as I'm coloring m.if I'm wanting that 3d look. Well use 3 colors. Lol. Your videos are so helpful
I love magenta and fushia. 💖 They are my happy colors!! 🥰 Rainbow glitter is, of course, my favorite, but happy shades of each color would be my all-time favorites right up there with gem tones! 🌈 I would never have thought of putting an orange shade with magenta, but it really pops next to it!! 🧡 The indigo brought out the depth and lines. 👏👏 Do you ever use fine liners?
Hi Pamela's Passion, You mentioned that you use Stickles, where might you buy them? Do buy them from Amazon, Micheal's (an arts and crafts store), Blicks, or where? If I may ask? How much per bottle approximately, if I may ask? I'm just curious. I'm still learning about art. To me, art is a learning curve for me. I have come a long way in two years since I have been coloring. I am no pro because I am still learning new things everyday. I learn from a select few people such as yourself and a couple others. I wish you could do a few color alongs that would be awesome! Thank you in advance for answering my questions. Blessed Be. 😊
I did do one video where I shared Polychromos combinations. It is in my Color Combinations series which are all in a playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLCV050IiJShpdjl6sBKbLt8ncP2vCFOBG
As long as you go in light layers and pile the color without damaging the tooth of the paper, the Crayolas are wonderful. They are a harder pencil, but I absolutely love my Crayolas.
Thanks. Hope you can do a video with Crayola coloring a simple autumn leaf. Would love to see it. Also do you have a complete coloring page done with just Crayola pencils or know of any RUclips post with a coloring page done on Crayola pencils ?I don't see many posts of artwork done on Crayola.
I love these Crayola videos. The pictures always come out so much better than expected! Thanks Pamela!
Thank you! I hope to see you share your butterfly if you follow the tutorial. Happy Coloring!

Sounds like a fantastic idea. I’ll see what I can do!
It's like a firey pink glowing purply butterfly....perfect to go with the little viola flowers. That "extra color" makes it so perfect.
Thank you!
You’ve inspired me to try Crayola for myself. I can’t wait to test out some of your color combos! Btw I love how your nails match the butterfly 🦋

Outstanding!,
Would you recommend the Afmat long pencil manual sharpner for Prisma colored pencils?
This one is fantastic! amzn.to/3HIM2wX

How did you decide the placement for shadows?
May I ask if you will ever do poly chromo combos ?

Is there any rhyme or reason as to where you lay down the colors? Beginner here
Hi. Generally how are the Crayola color pencils, do you find that the pigment are very soft and is hard to lay down? Thank

I have done a whole page in Crayola coloring. I am no Pro, but no beginner either.

No matter what brand of pencils you use, you should always use multiple light layers, never press hard 😁
I would have to do them at the same time. I would never remember how I put together the first one. lol
The 120 set is over $65 Canadian on Amazon.
Is this a déjà vo moment or did you do this tutorial with crayola n this butterfly 1 year ago?
This is a new one. I’ve done a couple now in different color combinations.
Hi everyone
