Simply awesome build along with the piloting skills. Lady In The Dark, just happened to be the last WWII aircraft credited with downing the last two enemy aircraft at the end of hostilities.
@@tbobborap1 I still like the P-51. However, when I got introduced to the P-61, I began trying to collect as much written information as possible out there on this remarkable aircraft that I could get my hands on. Just last Saturday, I had a chance to take a once in a lifetime flight aboard a '42 vintage B-17G which was simply astounding! The P-61s shared many of it's components with the B-17, B-25 as well as the B-29. However, there were about 12,700+ B-17s built, about 10,000 or so B-25s, not certain of the numbers on B-29s built. But, there were only about 700 or so P-61s built and only four remain. One in Ohio; one in Washington, D.C. area; one in Beijing, China and the last one is currently under restoration in Reading, PA. They all are museum pieces to one degree or another. But the one in PA, it is hopefully trying to be made ready for restoration to flying status. I believe the website for more information on that aircraft can be found at www.maam.org Because the B-29s had priorities, the P-61 tended to get pushed to the backseat in terms of mission needs/requirements.
Perfect job! Aeroplane and pilot are as one. It was my first kit from Ravell with scale 1:48. First but with no. 5 of skill :)Your show is pure pleasure. :)Good luck!
Saw a Javelin sitting on the flight line . Any chance of some footage of it in the air ? I love the unusual and the Javelin is just cool . Thanks and God Bless.
Yes , those did very nicely . As a founding member of The American Air Museum In Britain , I especially appreciated the memorial in the first video . The second had a special treat , three of my favorite British jets .The Javelin , the English Electric Lightning , and the Hawker Hunter .All it needed was a Vampire , a Venom , and a Sea Vixen . We have a real Lightning here in the U.S. at Warner Robbins Air Museum in Georgia . They keep her in pristine albeit static , condition. Got some great shots of her . Now if I can just get to Louisiana or California , I can get a gander at an Avro Vulcan . Another one of my favorites. Thank you so much for posting and God Bless .

Thank you for taking the time to pull together a wonderful cache of resources. Rest assured I will enjoy going through them all . I enjoy researching and discovering all I can about military aviation . I love building models , taking pictures (I miss real film) , and collecting aviation memorabilia . Your videos both entertain and inspire me to push further . Due to their good quality , I can also use them as reference material . I've always been intrigued by British aviation . You guys militarily recognized it's importance long before we did . Which is why at the outbreak of war for you , you trusted us with all your research (such as on radar and jet engines) in an effort to capitalize on our industrial capabilities . Thank you so much and God Bless , Paul .
thanks for your kind comments paul much appreciated, i dont expect you to watch them all but if you do i hope you enjoy them all and they help with your research, if you go onto my channel home page you will find my 1300 videos are all in playlist which make it easier for you to search the different types of aircraft - saves a lot of time as well ! check out these british aircraft if your intereted - ruclips.net/video/LDgBg4NFz2o/видео.html ruclips.net/video/w4u_dvBvEZo/видео.html hope you enjoy paul - pete,

Great builder and pilot and a great video!!! thanks
Beautiful Model Airplane, very nice Video.
👌`` Beautiful video work . Love the close-up of scale work at the end ! Thanks ...
Awesome plane! I just love P61. I wish I could build a model like that - maybe one day...
Beautiful bird !
Great sound !
Nice flight !

Very impressive model, that! Subtle scale bits like the scale ailerons & spoilers....very well done. Well flown too, thanks for this! Dougal
awesome model isn't she dougal ! - pete
Great job on the spoilers!
outstanding :)
I had painted the drop tanks on my Monogram the same way.
P-61 looks like two fighter fuselage bomber fuselage-rear gunner position and bomber wings mounted in reverse and stabilizer! Am I right??
Very Nice! Amazing build. There wouldn't happen to be a build thread some where?
RC Universe is a website that you could try.
Good hunting!
super Modell , eine Frage: welche Motoren sind verbaut (ccm ? Methanol ?)
thanks hans, all the information on the model is in the description box - pete
Only thing I don’t like is that it only has 2 props per engine while the real ones had 4 props per engine. Other than that it’s awesome
Dig the nose art. Nice sounding plane too.
thanks
Beautiful!!!
thanks
Looks and sound very scale :)
That is awesome... Very nice...
thanks
great flight, love the noise!!
did I see right, dose he fly with throttle reversed??
thanks fish, i dont think so!
tbobborap1 If you look at the vid time 1.09 onwards, when he revs up the engines he is pulling the stick backwards?
fishmjh yes fish youre right, must be on a different mode to us i reckon !
i think there are four different modes from which to fly from !
I have a model version of the real thing, it doesn't fly, but it's pretty cool, I am almost finished building i
where is the black window on it?
very cool plane
Thanks for your comment
It is jans own design as well !!
Very clever
