Béla Faragó: God's the Best Boss / from the opera Metamorphosis sung by Saint Ephraim Choir Quartet

Here he goes the 11th movement of Dustball Songs and Dances, the choir suite from my opera called The Metamorphosis based on Franz Kafka's novel. As always it's very-very actual for me, particularly these hard days at Easter in pandemic.
The text and music evoke the world - and words - of Bach’s chorales. At the text ‘I must die’ (at 2:00) there is a concrete reference to the chorale ‘Christus, der ist mein Leben’, to the passage ‘Sterben ist’ (’he is dead’).
The original libretto was written by the Hungarian author Kristóf Kovács.
