tipping over in ocean kayak | Kayak fishing in Mendocino

never thought I would be tipping over in an ocean kayak. Not a lot to say here lol I went out and had a good day testing my little trolling motor on my kayak and did some good rock fishing, unfortunately, my outriggers ended up failing and I went in the drink. that's ok though it was a good learning lesson since then I have reinforced my outriggers and I am actually upgrading my trolling motor!

A group of us were just at ocean cove fishing 2 weeks ago nice catch brother, careful you don’t get busted without registration for your motor, I had to register my old town crazy regulations.

Dude, wear a wetsuit out there. Water is far too cold, if you can’t self recover for some reason hypothermia sets in quick. Also once you put a motor on that it becomes a boat. All CG rules apply and you must have it registered with a CF number, F&G will ding you and the fine is steep. Stay safe, we loose a lot of people up here not respecting the cold.
