@@facufeg86 actually I've already played it a couple of years ago. It surely was amazing and I kept playing despite my pc not being strong enough to run it very good lol. I just wish Atlus gave us a way to play it on modern day consoles
@@Arcxzal guess why, 1.5 requires more horse power, same with me but in some games i run 1.5 cuz the more accurate emulation is valueable in some games. you not being able to run 1.5 is cuz ur pc is to weak for it, when you get a good cpu 1.5 is the way to go.

When is 1.5.0 *finally* going to be released to the public as a feature-freeze (through site's main download offer) stable release? 1.4.0's been sitting there for years and a lot of people seriously getting tired of all this waiting, considering that it's been known for a while now that Git's been using 1.5.0's RCs for months now. Do you have any approximate (even if not 100% assured) date for when this gets released to the general public so that anyone can download 1.5.0 instead of 1.4.0 from the PCSX 2's site?

People eagerly await for you guys to release 1.5.0 in it's full/stable form, despite the fact they also regularly try new Git builds, but it's getting more annoying and harder for them to deal with it by each new passing month. Look, no one "whines" here (not me personally, that's for sure, as I'm fine with current state of emulator due to types of games I play which been emulated nearly perfectly for ages now), but you can't deny people the right to eventually become restless and/or worried when they see that Git's been shuffling 1.5.0's builds around for so long while main site's download page hasn't been updated with a stable feature-freeze release for years. And I don't think this pertains only to those aforementioned several friends of mine, but probably (or, rather, highly likely) to the general audience at large by the biggest part of it. And considering that development's news/progress update logs are irregular and infrequent, sometimes downright half-a-year in-between the few, this sure does just add more fuel to the people's worries on this.

I have a way less beefy PC and I can play shin megami tensei nocturne with some optimization. I am on a lower resolution tho (2x) but our computers are way apart in specs. I have a i5 5200u (2 core 4 thread) and a 840m. Idk all I can say is check driver updates and join the discord
Hi, I know it's been a while since you posted this but I also ran into difficulty. It turns out you need the European version of the game to get the Code to work. After that you just download it from the forum page listed above, and install it like any other cheat (as a PNACH file in the PCSX2 Cheats folder). You can find some vids on YT about using cheats. Best of luck!
Yes, change it to the software renderer when you're about to load a race on the first load, I think the hotkey to change to software is F9 or F10, after it loads change it back to hardware, you can restart a race in hardware and it'll still be fine but the first load always has to be in software
When you release the new stable version, don't release as 1.6.0. Because there is this version made by fans and it will cause confusion for users when downloading. My suggestion is to release version 1.6.1 as the stable version. So nobody will confuse.
@@nabeelbox7397 late but I think he was referring to the pre-configured emulator by stickman sham? overall just made the quality of the game better, fixed wall/door renders, made a pnach file that could remove motion blur, and fixed the shadows in the digital devil saga games.

in performance, it runs worse but is more accurate in emulation.

When you download the emulator, do you need the ps2 discs on hand? Do I get to play all ps2 games for free?
If you have the discs and a disc drive then yes it can play the discs or you can rip the discs to your PC/laptop which is legal

The game isn't running 60fps here. The title is a misnomer. The video is 60fps. Nocturne's 60fps hack only doubles the speed of the game.
