@PrivatePilot-fe3bithey say renovations but from the photo it looks like a completely new stadium.. they don't have enough room to build a new stadium completely.
@PrivatePilot-fe3bi While the owner did try to get money from taxpayers, he ultimately funded the renovations privately. At least we didn’t get another Marlins Park situation.

FedEx dropped their naming rights to what is now known as Northwest Stadium, it was briefly Commanders Field until Northwest Federal Credit Union bought the rights to what is now the second largest NFL Stadium in Maryland, M&T in Baltimore holds more in capacity.

FedEx Field is the absolute worst stadium I have ever been to, ever. The seats are so low to the ground that everyone in front of you is eye level, the food is HORRIBLE, there are no stadium maps anywhere, there is only elevators on one side of the stadium, and the parking situation is a nightmare. That stadium truly sucks.
It's also a long upward hike to the stadium from the Morgan Boulevard Metro, what I do is go to Largo station and just take a short Cab ride to the stadium, after the game it's all downhill to the Metro.
FedEX Field is like the worst stadium in American professional sports. I would say Hard Rock absolutely doesn't belong on this list and I haven't heard much about Everbank Field
Important to consider: this “official” rates and scores usually consider stuff that fans won’t even care for or think about, like number of bathrooms per level, coaster on the seats, number of parking lots and such, for which a good stadium like hard rock can shift south
I'm a Lions fan but I live in JAX, and I've been to quite a few Jags games and I always have a good time. The stadium is nice, the fans are a lot of fun, and the food can be hit or miss depending on the day. I usually drive and tailgate with friends, so I never have a problem getting home. That's interesting that it made it to the bottom of that list. I wonder what they had Ford Field at, I love that place!
Let’s be clear- aside from maybe FedEx Field these are all great stadiums by college standards. But the multi-billion dollar stadiums of late have skewed how we view stadium value
Went to FedEx Field for a preseason game and you can tell that the new owners are putting in the work to fix what needs to be fixed and have done a really good job of it.
imagine you have a chance to make the play-offs by beating a team with a stud running back who should be retired and working in an ACTUAL stud farm, and a QB who makes joe flacco look young and a coach nobody in the NFL wants to hire ====== and you proceed to lose that game and never get a whiff of the playoffs
The reason the Jags stadium atmosphere shows in the bottom is when the team is losing, no one shows up to the game. It turns into 1/2 full in some games. It becomes the home team stadium for the away team..
Most American stadiums have bad locations with a few exceptions like Yankees stadium. Perfect example of a horrible locations is Metlife not even in nyc, surrounded by concrete and asphalt, no residential or business areas nearby which means it's not walkable
Yoo, I went to the same game you went to in Jacksonville and you were right, some dude tried to charge us $120 after the game for 2 miles just to go back to the hotel downtown.
The "Commanders" stadium is in Gorgeous Prince George's, i.e. PG County Maryland. I grew up there. It is not a good neighborhood. And that's during the daytime. It actually gets much worse as you drive down the street towards DC. Really miss historic RFK stadium. Fedex isn't that old, but they're already insisting on building a new stadium in the DC area. Seems like such a waste of money. The team has been in shambles for years. And people still pay big bucks to witness the spectacle. There have been many games where the visiting fans outnumber people cheering for the home team. Just a big mess.
I've been to the jags stadium twice. It's so fun! You should've taken the river taxi! My friends and I did that and it was amazing! Taking a boat to and from a football game is an unmatched vibe. Also the bbq nachos at Bono's in the stadium are 🔥🔥

The Superdome built in 1975, is still the neatest most comfortable game experience I’ve ever witnessed! That Dome was built way ahead of its time! I can see why the Saints Fans want it around forever.
At FedEx just this summer there was padding on the seats that was practically completely ripped off. Also, there has been cases of leaking sewage pipes. I actually think that their food this past winter was really good. I don’t know how recent they made that change. Definitely overran by opposing team’s fans 😂 parking was $40 😅 in the winter, they had this very cool event that was sponsored by Pepsi and they were giving away free chicken sandwiches, as well as Pepsi’s!
I dunno if it was mentioned in the other 1,000 comments, but: Part of the complaints about parking is because Washington's former stadium - RFK - was actually *in* DC, with a Metro Train station underneath it. It's way easier (as well as less impactful on parking at the stadium) if you park at your preferred Metro station & navigate Metro Rail to get to the Stadium Armory station...
Bud, FedEx field has 10,000 seats removed and different colored seats making in ridiculously ugly, and plumping that drenches 100+ people in poop water each year, and the railings and stairs collapse all the time
i've been to hard rock stadium and honestly I thought it was great. Renovation makes the inside feel very modern and I loved the canopy setup. Concourses feel old but the food was great. Don't know why it's so low. I'd put soldier field or Nissan stadium on here instead
The reason why Jax is probably listed so low is because of how hot the stadium is in September and October. There's virtually no airflow in there so it's basically an oven with triple digit temperatures. Fortunately for you, you went during a December game. A shame it had to be that game, tho.
