Hey Art, I thought SILTY was a GREAT choice. I kind of wish you had found WIMPY for your 4th play. It would have given you 2 plays left with WMP off the table. Another bullet dodged. If you get unlucky in Hard mode, you fail, and you might not have had any way of avoiding it.
If I remember correctly, the Kia Soul commercial has two hip-hop hamsters driving the car, with a man rapping in the background, "Now you could get with this/Or you could get with that..."
On the Wordle, at step 6 I think FIGGY like in the traditional pudding, was a great distractor - can't imagine the conundrum that would have caused. BIGGY was still in play too!
Golden ratio out to three places, good for you. I tend to remember only as 1.6, which is usually sufficient to get the idea. Best example is the appeal of a painting with these dimensions. Not needed today, but Wyna may find another occasion to spring it on us.
I want to continue limiting my time being in these sites. I am doing well and already said a brief HELLO to Oranje a few days ago while in Kenny's site. I am now focusing my attention just doing the Wordle games/5 and 6 letters. I will do the practice games with Connections being Connections Unlimited and will occasionally do Strands. I saw other categories today. Colors of labs, for one. A phrase ending in out. Peace out, even out, black out. Took all my guesses but managed to finish. Didn’t figure out the blue category.

I know the newspaper is based in New York, but they really lose out when they make puzzles that kind of snub their international audience. Had they even googled "dove chocolate" they would have found out Mars calls it "Galaxy" over here (and "here" is apparently not even where I live - UK, India, Australia only). You had 3 misses and you were only able to correctly name the yellow category giving you 2 points. Because you still had the color order, this gave you an added point making your TOTAL being 3 points out of a possible 10 points. On a positive note you were able to light up all your categories according to Wyna's standards having a successful game.
@@christiana6018 4 lit up categories minus 3 misses equals one point and then you were only able to NAME the one yellow category giving you the other point. Two points and the one bonus point with color order gives you 3 points. This point system is very particular and Wyna does not have a point system. It is JUST lighting up the four categories having no more than three misses to be successful in Connections.

Unusual day. Got the spangram first ! I have only heard of the Accord model the rest I found without hints but just seeing the words.
Connections was nasty. Dove chocolate is Galaxy in the UK and I only know this from watching too much US content on RUclips but I only twigged this afterwrds.
Grey Goose was mentioned by Fanny Willis earlier this year but again I'm not sure if it's marketed in the UK.

Got the last 2 categories off of pure luck. 5 or 6/10 (not sure if the order still counts)
You had 3 misses and you were only able to correctly name the yellow category giving you 2 points. Because you still had the color order, this gave you an added point making your TOTAL being 3 points out of a possible 10 points. On a positive note you were able to light up all your categories according to Wyna's standards having a successful game.
@@hopechazzso misses subtract from the score? I thought since I got the 4 and names the yellow it would be 5
@@christiana6018 4 lit up categories minus 3 misses equals one point and then you were only able to NAME the one yellow category giving you the other point. Two points and the one bonus point with color order gives you 3 points. This point system is very particular and Wyna does not have a point system. It is JUST lighting up the four categories having no more than three misses to be successful in Connections.
