Sonny is a fool then, he's a fool now: 1)When Kristina lied on Ethan about beating her (when it was really Kiefer) Sonny held Ethan at gunpoint at the haunted star, had him beaten up while he was in jail, tried having him killed. 2)When Kate/Connie was shot at the alter on their wedding day, he blamed karpov (when it was really Anthony Zaccharra). 3)When Dante was shot in his warehouse, he instantly blamed Johnny (when it was Anthony Zaccharra) like always. Johnny has always been Sonny's little scapegoat since he first came to town. 4)When he found Connie bleeding out in her office and came across the letters (a and j) written in her own blood, he instantly thought she was identifying AJ Quartermaine as her assailant and he allowed his long standing hatred for AJ cloud his judgment because weeks before her murder he recalled the day he walked into his living room and found AJ strangling Connie for printing that story about Kiki not being a Quartermaine. AJ doesn't have a right to choke Connie for exposing Kiki on the press or threatening her at gunpoint in his drunken state, like Sonny doesn't have a right to take AJ's life months later (even if he's guilty). But Ava has manipulated Sonny about AJ telling her that he wasn't remorseful for "killing" Connie (which she did) to add fuel to Sonny's disdain for AJ, and she manipulated Sonny further about him wanting to work for Julian and for the reason why he attacked her. The list goes on... Jason is the only one in the organization with sense: He knew in an instant that Kristina was lying on Ethan about attacking her, and he investigated it further to find the real culprit. Before Spinelli came to town, Jason does investigations for Sonny and provide him with the results he finds regarding their enemies about who did what, when and where. If Jason was around when Connie was murdered, he would have known in an instant that AJ didn't do it, instead he would have Spinelli investigate Connie's murder.

You're absolutely right! When Sonny first came to town his was small time, without a crew. Jagger knocked Sonny out so hard that they had to take Sonny to the ER for a concussion. Then, on another episode, Jagger hit him and knocked him down again. Knowing that, it cracked me up when a few years later the writers made it where Sonny had the power to knock out Jax. Sonny went there to confront Jax and thought he caught Jax in a liaison with a woman other than Brenda, but it was actually Brenda. Sonny gave Jax a right hook and knocked 6'2" Jax flat out. LMBO. Brenda was pissed.

They are so dysfunctional together! And all of these other women are by far any comparison to SONNY/BRENDA love story. That is what you call REAL! They had romance , love, passion.
