As someone that watched Jonathan in 1993 until he left the show, I am so glad to hear he is coming back.I am also glad to see Bradford and Steve back....some of the best of GH!

I'm glad they waited for him to want to return instead of recasting. Lucky is a Legacy character himself on top of being the child of a Legacy couple. He's the best actor for the role.

@@MamaUrban24that scene has always stayed with me, and it made me wish I had brothers who would do that for me, (i do have brothers, but they would never do that for any of their sisters😭). It's funny how they didn't agree on much as brothers, but when it came to defending lulu, they got together immediately. So cool!!

Met JJ and RH, very briefly, in '97(?). Obviously very young, but recall he came across as so mellow, zen...and as you note, soft spoken...way back then. Curious to see him back in PC after this long.

I just read this morning that Jonathan was coming back and then you release the scoop interview with him. BTW Laura has baby Ace. Maybe now it's time to get Julie Berman as Lulu and have a family reunion. I still remember when Jason gave his boxcar to Lucky. I am looking forward to see how the writers put Lucky in and the back story for the last 10 years. Steve and Bradford, awesome show and Jonathan, welcome back.
The Soaps do one thing that no other medium can do, they tie the characters together through generations and they have families that have watched from great grandparents to current college students, and they remember sharing the stories for decades!

Tony lives in Amsterdam & he's made it clear his GH day's r over. Believe me, I would love him back. He looks quite different now. He was a good deal older than Laura/Genie. Maurice off camera on his podcast has really aged. No disrespect, we all age. But Sonny dyes his grey hair, Maurice doesn't. It's a great time to b a GH fan. Wake Lulu up 🙏 plz.

The Luke & Laura story is legendary 🙌 No other show can top their Love story & adventures ❤️. Yes, Luck could certainly b alive & speak over the phone. Tracy & or Laura can go 'visit' him wherever he is supposed to b.
I can’t overstate how happy I am about this. I just hope they won’t drown the character in darkness and sorrow again. Jonathan Jackson is such a warm bright light, it would be great for Lucky to come back as a man who has grown up for real, and can offer something truly positive to the storylines.

I hope Lucky gets Nikolas out of jail, and sets his mother straight. It's crazy to me that the writers are pushing this Heather nonsense, while Nikolas is rotting in a cell for less. He should be raising Ace.
And I hope he builds a relationship with Aiden. And then Jake. I also wish Cameron was still on the show.
His return will be good for Elizabeth and will help bring more dimension to her character which was getting uninteresting.

The scene where Lucky confronts (the real) Nik when he discovered he'd slept with Elizabeth was Oscar worthy. I've watched that scene at least 10 times. Stellar performances by Jonathan and Tyler. 🏆🏆

We’ve been watching GH since college late 70s early 80s! We knew the storyline was gonna be great when Lucky first walked into the diner and met Ruby. What an exciting time on the show back then! This is great!!! I’m tearing up a little watching this!
I'm 36, been watching since I was in diapers. Jonathan Jackson as Lucky Spencer was my first crush. All these years later, no regrets😂 excited to have him back for however long we get him. Hopefully they'll hire Emme back and we can have a few Spencers again.

I still recall when he 1st came on and rode that bike from the Triple L Diner where L&L were on the run at/he also went on the run back to Port Charles/with the pink Cadillac as the major scene in the return. Amazing and now all these years later he is back with Genie. Cannot wait.

He definitely was, especially in his relationship to Liz. Lucky and Liz have always been toxic since his character came back in 2001.
He and Liz will never work out because she keeps trying to force herself to fit into his life and his ideals. And when she can't, things go very bad for both of them.

I've noticed JJ hasn't mentioned Becky or Elizabeth at all which makes me wonder if they're going to be a big story kept under wraps.
It's lucky he, Ingo, and Steve don't have to give in to the tyrannical mandated jabs just to make ABC/Woke Disney and Nancy Grahn happy.

The producers and the audience alike are truly lucky ( no pun intended) to have Jonathan Jackson back. He is such a talented actor. In my opinion, he's the best that General Hospital has ever had. I am only sad that Lucky will never be able to reunite with his brother Nikolas as played by Tyler Christopher. The two had a wonderful chemistry. Sure, they can find another actor to play Nikolas, but it'll never be the same.

JJ is of course the only Lucky I will even acknowledge but…like myself I was so happy to see Jonathan do a documentary or series on the Royal Russian family who were all martyred and it was so well done I was not surprised at what a wonderful job Jonathan and his family did on them. It’s so strange that their lives were all lived and done before I was born. I was born in 1961 so of course Jonathan could probably be my son’s age. My family has researched our lineage and traced to Queen Victorias line and some day I hope to see that family in heaven! I’m especially obsessed with little Alexi which I probably misspelled but thanks Jonathan for that documentary which was so beautifully done! My son is 39 and he became very interested in the Royal family when he saw JJ who is one of his favorite celebrities bringing the Martyred families story back to the fore front. My son is a Christian and I homeschooled my kids before it was popular so our break for lunch was of course to watch GH! My son is bipolar and Maurice Steve and Jonathan were his role models. My husband is a computer electronics engineer. He built the cell towers for US Cellular after training troops for twenty years and he does not like soaps but he will ask me occasionally how Spinelli is getting on with GH? Spinelli he relates to as my husband is a computer genius!

Yeah that's great BUT they're letting most of my favorites (you two are two of my favorites ♥️♥️) go😥💔😡. Now it's Easton. They let Howarth go. I know Chavez quit but still, he's gone. I have no idea where Michael Knight has gone. Whose next? And these storylines. I've watched and been a huge fan since Luke and Laura in the 80's but they're causing me to leave my tv off now with these stupid storylines. Sorry but it's true. Too much Sonny and Carly too. I only watch now if Jeff Kober is on which is way too infrequent. So for JJ fans I'm happy but that won't bring me back.
I hope we get to see Lucky with Aiden and be a good co parenting team with Liz. Aiden needs his dad in his life. And jake needs Jason in his. Would still love to see Liz and Jason together and be a family too.

@@pb4ugo19she actually has, jason wouldn't let her. Besides, they make much better sense than her and lucky getting back together. Liz and Lucky are toxic together. They make good friends and good co parents. But as a couple they are toxic. She forces herself to stay with him bc she feels like she owes him for what he did for her as a teen. And he can't accept her being anything other than that teen version of herself. They just don't make sense as a couple.
@@angien306 ya'll put Liz on some kind of a pedestal like she isn't toxic herself. The list is long. In fact, both Lucky and Jason are less toxic combined than her messy self.
@@pb4ugo19thats why i said they are BOTH toxic to each other. Lucky is no saint. Hes pretty toxic all by himself. But when hes with liz, he's worse. Liz is the most toxic when she's with lucky. She second guesses herself and always tries to placate to his wants and his ideals. They make liz into this flip flopping mess because she can't decide between what she wants with Jason, and her obligation to lucky bc of what he did for her as a teen. And lucky can never accept liz for who she is now and always wants her to always be the teen version of herself.

Does Jonathan still at least remember Lucky has one biological kid and two others? lol. I kind of am hoping now that Finn is gone, this will give Lucky and Liz a chance to reconnect. I know some don’t want them back together. But even if they don’t I still want them to get at least back to that friendship where Lucky will be there for Liz.
This is an interesting time for JJ to be returning. He is the one and only Lucky for me... but a bit nervous about how the writers will treat the character.

Interesting that there was no mention of working with Rebecca Herbst again or how Luckys return will affect Liz and and Aidan. No mention either of Jackie Zeman and Tyler Christopher's passing, Lucky's in-story aunt & brother. Must be strange to come back with two people he worked with and who were central characters in Lucky's life, gone, coupled with Tony's retirement.
I wish Lu Lu could wake up and Lucky could find some new evidence to bring Nickolas out of lock up I think Laura will need them she’s being a bit of a ding bat with this Heather thing
