Excellent list. You sir are the best reviewer I’ve come across on RUclips, that’s not narrowed down to just fragrances. Very honest, independent reviews. Great job.
I have been on the fence about buying Guerlain L'instant for some time now,but just hearing you describe it with such passion and admiration has totally sold me. Thank you for putting this top 10 list together. I love the fact that you chose things that were different. What I like the most is that you started the list with Narciso Rodriguez which is my SOTD. Beautiful and creative scent.
Man! I am impressed with you. I bought your number one and you sure didn't fool us. What a great fragrance it is! I am thankful you showed me the way to that fragrance and I'm subbing so I dont miss any other great suggestions you might have in store. Great video man!
Top notch list. Rodriguez for him , embarrassingly, has been on my to buy list for the past 4 or 5 years, and Visit is an amazing under appreciated scent. Well done.
Hi Chris . Really enjoying your content. I love rive gauche . The azzaro , is it suitable for older guys ? I noticed the marketing is for the young guys
Great list Chris! Any difference in the actual juice of LIDG the old vs the new? And yes the cap on the old bottles was flimsy, although I liked the unique design of the bottles.
Scent Land But the one you’re showing is the new edt. Do you own the edp as well? If the new edp is as the old edt, what’s the edp like then? I’ve read that the new edp is what the old extreme was, or close enough.
@@valueink the new edp is like the old l'instant original edt. There is no new edt. L'instant extreme had a lot more cacao and patchouli. The new edp has a much brighter citrus opening that is a lot less dense. It's more transparent, and as a result has spotty longevity.
Hi big fan of your channel! I wonder what a possible list of 10-20 fragrances of the past decade would you put on the list since it is now 2021. I hope you take my suggestion and post a video on this possibly maybe at the end of this year to have a fleshed out list! Just an idea do what you will and may the Land of Scent be around for another decade or more!
i remember it was female perfumer called Beatrice Piquet created la instant de Guerlain. She passed away i guess may be due to cancer. I love love this one the old bottle EDT was class act.
Love your energy Chris!! I feel more awake already! lol Man, Sentiment was such a great frag wasn't it. Will definitely have to try Antonio and Ferre! What a refreshing top 10. Viva Scent Land! ViVa!
Great list, Chris!
That Eau is very herbaceous I love that shit ...And tryna find Rive Gauche ppsshhh forget it it's been slow going ...You always go for the under rated rarities stand outs no doubt ...Man juice where the hell do u find some of these still can't find Dynamiks Drakkar
Scent Passion Land 😃 love the list chris and im with you on Azzaro visit that is such an underappreciated gem it definitely dosen't get the respect it is due, cant believe I found 3.4oz bottles for 19 bucks at a local store so I bought 3 of them in my eyes thats a steal 👍
Man, I've just noticed that I have the same "Tournee du chat noir" picture! Now I realize why I share your taste, lol. Amazing list, thanks for reminding me some forgotten gems
Fantastic review, friend. Too few real (masculine, classy/classic, and hidden gems) fragrance reviewers out there. You, my friend, might be the last one. For that, thank you. Now, I have a question about L’instant, is the fragrance you own Eau de Parfum, or Eau de Toilette?
Great video!!! Azzaro Visit! Great quality fragrance. Also like one of Antonio Banderas called "Seduction in Black". A little bit sweet and spicy, well blended. Also would include like a bonus some of the Lalique Encre Noire line... Seems almost impossible that other designer house make a fragrance based on vetyver. Greetings again from Punta Arenas, Chile.!!!!
Actually there have been two "noses" behind L'instant, Sylvaine Delacourte and Béatrice Piquet. Congratulation Chris, you combine deep knowlege, passion, objectivity and fairness.
I have l instant de guerlain but edp version I love this fragance and Azzaro visit. My number one is armani attitude for ever because is the umbeliable perfection de beautifuls combo fresh / dark/semi gourmand/wood patchouli... In my opinion similar a l instant de guerlain but in this case coffe is replaced for dark coconut.
Hmm I guess you don't like anything in the later 2000's like 06+? Maybe Guerlain Habit Rouge or something more recent... there must be something that you feel is good to your nose. No Dior Homme line or something? Your faves like 2011 Eau Sauvage Parfum?
NO, I do like many releases of the new millennium. Krizia Pour Hiomme, Loewe7 Anonimo, Aramis Adventurer. Kenzo Homme Boisee, Ferre for Men and also the 2011 Dior ES Parfum yes-
look out for the special ones which are hopefully around. unfortunately these days the shops carry a very general stock which has massive mass appeal but is rather generic. thats why the many niche houses play now such a big part on the market. anyone who wants something special, turns to them. My eye is always on the hidden, forgotten stuff...
paulo-magum i actually never cared for encre noir since Iam not a major fan of vetiver while Terre is nice but overly popular which is a no go in this case
You are right- youtubers are afraid of telling the truth- all channels are making top 10s with horrible perfumes. to get subscrivers- its sad to see you alone preching in the desert- today its all about shit perfumes, like sauvage, dylan blue, invictus, Y by YSL, onr million, aventus, bleu de chanel, individuel, and many more shity fragances. And you are right, niche houses are robbing the fools. most of them make very bad perfumes- Obrigado...from Portugal
Ich würd visit gerne so lieben wie du aber diese synthetische incense Note sticht zu hart in meiner nase aber wenn dir das gefällt dann dürftest du zadig&voltaire for him lieben, geht in die selbe Richtung nur bisschen dunkler.

Bravo!! You have some interesting frags there.I will have to do some homework and try to aquire some of them.Great vid!
Yessss!!! Long waited video, thanks!!
Thought you were going to include Cristobal, Krizia Pour Homme or MIP, but nice to see others as well. Cheers!
Youre right, but Cristobal became to cloying for me after a while and Krizia and MiP finished on spots 11 and 12....
Man! I am impressed with you. I bought your number one and you sure didn't fool us. What a great fragrance it is! I am thankful you showed me the way to that fragrance and I'm subbing so I dont miss any other great suggestions you might have in store. Great video man!
wow, I am happy its works for you
For me it's the best fragrance I have ever smelled. I was shocked how good it smells from the first sniff.. Piece of art
L’instant is my favourite fragrance from Guerlain as well. Love watching your videos! Cheers from 🇨🇦

Great list Chris! Any difference in the actual juice of LIDG the old vs the new? And yes the cap on the old bottles was flimsy, although I liked the unique design of the bottles.
Not drastically different, but to a good nose, recognizably different. The new edp is like the instant edt of old. A lot fresher, less dense.
I love that fresher aspect

Upbeat as always. Didn't realise Rive Gauche Pour Homme was 21st Century. Well done mate, great video.
Womans version is from the 80s
Fantabulous video
Have you gotten your nose on Tom Ford Noir Anthracite? I'm wearing a sample on me and i LOVE it. And I think you will too brother
Visit is a great way to add some balls to other scents. I've used it primarily with gourmands and citrus freshies to gain some masculine complexity.
What a passion! Chris!!! Great video as always!!!
I dont do anything without passion
Scent Land a great rule for life

Love Visit, but it doesn't last on me. Layering with amboxan helps, though
I love your passion Chris, you don’t go for the mass market fragrances, I have to get Visit from Azzaro!
I go for under the rada fragrances and anything that is not over hyped and yet smells good with great quality and pricing.
Mr Chris another great review. YSL , Don't get me started! Lol. Peace and be well my friend ✌

Narciso Rodriguez edt or edp?
Nice review. Your Spanish accent is pretty decent, cabarello...I need to revisit some fragrances I’ve repeatedly overlooked.
Hahaha, gracias!
Why the green cap on the Guerlain? All the online retailers show a bottle with a brown cap.
well spotted, its a tester bottle so i put the cap of vetiver extreme on it (after cleaning well)

Azzaro Visit is among the very is in its genre!
i love the passion you have for the world of scents! :D great
Always!!
Nice list! I believe PR Eau failed because of bad marketing. It should've been a stand alone frag instead of a flanker.
Totally agree, they just wanted to ride the popularity of the original PH
Gonna have to finally pick up that Narcisco Rodriguez!
Beatrice Piquet, who was also the nose behind Trussardi Uomo.
Wow, she was a genius!!
Actually there have been two "noses" behind L'instant, Sylvaine Delacourte and Béatrice Piquet. Congratulation Chris, you combine deep knowlege, passion, objectivity and fairness.
Francis Kapetan thanks a lot Francis
I want them all from the 70 to the 80, 90 and to these ones
Fere is an interesting house, fashion as well as scents.
Sadly not the same since Gianfranco passed away in 2007

It looks like we have very close taste in perfumes world 👍.. but where is the M7 ?
Thats very cool! BUT, I am not a fan of oud at all and since M7 brought it to the game I didnt fancy that YSL release at all....
Great List! Sadly That some are already discontinued. LI de Guerlain is created by Beatrice Piquet - unequalled!!
Can we have a top 10 of all time please Chris?
well, not sure, too many tops of whatever out there, not really intrigued to follow that line
I was expecting Cristobal and Krizia pour homme..but great and unique list however
Rightly so, but Cristobal was to cloying and the end, while Krizia finished at spot nr 11....
Bout time! Someone who ISNT into the masses thing. Follow your nose, it always knows! #tucansam

It's Azzàro (Italian surname). Correct pronunciation: "Atzàro" (more or less).
