Loved this VID. i used to live out at Diamond Head as my Father was the manager of the Sand Mine. There were four houses out there where the camp ground is and all the kids from these houses went to school in at Laurieton. Best place to grow up. We put our deposit down yesterday for a JB, now have the wait til we join you on the road
Looks like have a bit to learn on solar, you are lucky to get 50 of the wattage from a panel on a good day especially when they are flat on the roof and the further north you go the worse it gets, but you will work out, plenty of good info on the net. Keep enjoying 👍😃
Just started watching your big lap. Your weather there at the moment is just like ours in the UK. Looking forward to the next vlogs, Australia looks amazing. Hope you get some 🌞 soon
Fantastic video guys. So good to revisit that holiday at Kylie's Beach. Hanging out with you made it extra special. We'll crack a grassy knoll to watch each vid and cheers to you from afar. Love from the Rowes.
Another awesome vid guys. Following your adventures very closely, getting ideas and tips 👍🏽. The weather can't be predicted, so you guys stick around and wait it out to enjoy it or give up and move on?
Another cool episode. That fire place looks interesting as I also have one of those heavy, thick steel units and that light weight one would serve me better. Thanks for showing that. I'll have to check it out. As for the rain, good ol' La Niña is to blame. ☂
Well done guys. With our Gator X arriving soon It was good to see you trail blaze a bit for us. The battery seemed to get you through. How much of a role did the solar blanket play?
Hi just talking to another nice young couple just starting off, did anyone at the van dealer tell you to adjust your van brake controller each time you take off, to make sure your van pulls up truck slightly before car breaks take complete control, as the van brakes will be helped to keep van on line and not try to overtake car and put you in a spin especially at speed.
Only at the very start until we learnt how to set it up properly. If you look at the end of the barrel it has three grooves that run the whole way along, when standing at the drawbar and of the caravan looking back at it have the flap at 4 o’clock and the groove with the strap facing 9 o’clock Hope this helps!
Not too sure what you mean on that one sorry, our goes out to whatever distance we need with no actual “locking point” as such. There’s quite a few good vids on RUclips of how to set them up 👍🏼
Hi Guys great to see you getting out with the kid's walking I have been doing it for over 50 years , just a small tip I am sure you have a serious first aid kit 🤔 but when you are away from camp in the bush carry a bum bag and make up an essentials kit, for the you never know what can happen senario. 1, snake bite pressure bandage, bandaids, small eye wash vials,Bernadine, small saline wash, alcohol wipes, triangle bandage, survival blanket, sprinter probes, whistle, small mirror, fire flint, Panadol, tweezer, ✂️, I also carry a Orion tearing compass. And you should be good to get back if the worst happens, remember most venomous snakes can kill you in less time than it takes you to get back to the kit in the truck, been there done that 🤓 old Al
Thanks Alan! We do have a snake bite kit and a satellite sos device but to be completely honest with you we forget to pack them most of the time! We will have get better at being more prepared! Thanks for watching mate 👍🏼
@@nowornever_aus hope you do not mind me giving you tips love to see you guys safe when you get into the serious stuff you can save someones life in a remote area situation, hope you did a senior fist aid course before you left🤗
@@nowornever_aus So what are your future plane around the coast first? there is a lot to see inland ? coast is probably best for kids as long halls inland with not a lot in between
Crowdy bay looks gorgeous even with not so good weather ❤️
It’s so cool to meet nice people when your camping, they end up being like family 😊
Yeah it’s a great place! Highly recommended!

Nothing we can do about La Niña hey?! Just enjoying the sunshine when we have it!
@@nowornever_aus I've been following you guys long enough to know you'll have fun no matter what the weather is doing.
Your not wrong! Cheers mate!
there is also the gap camp ground up the other end of the beach which is also in the national park
Great to know for next time! We didn’t venture far up the beach because we couldn’t drive
@@nowornever_aus it does only have 2 van sites the rest is tents
Love the video hope the weather improves for you it’s been bad back here in Qld
It’s been on and off but been having some good weather now! We’ve seen the flooding in Qld on the news 🤭
Great episode guys, loving your content. We are heading off this year.
Thank you and congratulations! You’ll love it!

Not much at all to be honest, small kings solar blanket, need to invest in a good quality one

Yep 👍🏼
Hope the weather has improved for your trip
It has been on and off but generally we have been pretty lucky!
We have the same fire pit, not sure you should use fire lighters on it, though I could be wrong!
Thanks for the heads up! We’ll look into it!
What is the brand of fire pit please ?
It’s fireside and available from BCF 👍🏼

Noticed you said Kiely's beach is free camping you do know there are fees 2 night for 2 is $49-00 ?
Yeah mate, just said that we were off grid, not free camping, paid all of our fees and Ranger comes around daily to check
