Everyone complaining about this obviously have no clue about working with vehicles. Body shops in America do this every day, and most of the time, the work is perfect. I only say most of the time because some people are just lazy. Either way, there is a lot being cut out of a ten minute video. This process takes about a week altogether, with parts already on hand. It is not a super quick job with things half-hazardly thrown together. This takes pure skill and patience. Good job
In Europe not allowed! A car with that amount and sort of damage will be scavanged for still useable parts and the twisted body scrapped: other countries other rules. In my eyes much safer!

I don't know what's scarier the fact that the replacement parts (ncluding the firewall and the A pillar) were removed using a torch and an air hammer then welded on the car i or the fact that this car will be sold and back on the road with all of us! At least it'sfaraway frommeand myfamily. The shocking part is that the guy doing the work does incredible work. I've seen that guy fix similiar damages by the book countless times when he worked for a Nissan dealership. My problem is with the way it was repaired!
Are you normal? Do you repair your car after such an accident? The floor is damaged, the side members are damaged. This car after repair is a coffin on wheels...

Some of the repairs show on Mechanic Jack are effectively going back to rebuilding the vehicle from near scratch... Cost of which won't be worth the effort in many other countries...
Complete shock both for the workmanship and also for the level of leniency on structural safety. Quarter of the main structure of the body was cut out and basically butt and lap welded together.
Hi in Australia that would be classified as a statutory wright off not allowed to be repaired. Parts only.only cars that are classed as economical wright off;are allowed to be repaired. Shit like that goes in the bin cheers les from Adelaide south Australia

That car should never go back on the road as the metal has lost its integrity,the repair looks good but I wouldn't trust it in another collision.

Monocoque car chassis is very complicated to be repaired, so do it better next time. Use the laser as a guideline.
