Hello my friends! 🐺
I am finally able to announce that the highly anticipated The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition will be released in November of this year! There's still a ton of work to do, but I'm trying to finish all the important things before the release. A next preview video with an exact release date will be on the channel within the next month. The modification will be available for both versions of the game (4.0+ and 1.32), although the version for nextgen will contain significantly more improvements.

Andrzej Sapkowski just finished writing the new The Witcher books and will release it late this year in Polish and in 2025 in other languages, you give us the final version of your mod in November. Great time to be a witcher fan.
The only thing I'd like is a VR mod for TW3 and I'd be perfectly happy. There are two ways to play Cyberpunk in VR - Luke Ross mod and VorpX with their official profile, so surely there should be a way to make VR happen for TW3.
I'd like a VR mod as well. But i prefer to play on an immersive stereo3D screen in VR, which allows me to run a much higher resolution and higher GFX settings. VorpX does this really well, but i wish there where more alternatives. ReShade+SD3D and Geo11 are the only ones that come to mind and both are not the most user friendly.
I have more anticipation for this than any games coming out for the rest of this year.
November! I'm so excited, perfect for a winter playthrough when it's cold and miserable outside anyway. Might have to do 3rd playthroughs of 1 and 2 and then start up snother playthrough when this releases.

I've never played the game downloaded it today cause my friends are begging me to play it. loved 2! just never got around to 3. but i wanted it to look better so i found your mod and seen everyone saying to wait. little did i know you're releasing and even newer version tomorrow!! so I'm just gonna wait it out thanks for the hardwork man! previews look great!
Cant wait for this update to release. Got a 4080S in the spring and now I cant wait to replay TW3 again, crank up the RT and on top of that slap this glorious mod. Thats gonna be a real treat.

They’re semi doing that with the redkit, I heard modders will be able to make their own quest and use their assets

Small criticism for me though: The hay bales at 0:51 and 3:11, I wish they were more shaded like the original, because it distinguishes them more from the ground.

I started playing Witcher 3 in 2019 or 2020, I didn't finish it then (I didn't even finish 50% of the game). I guess I'm waiting for this mod to be released before I even think about returning to the game.

First of all, I congratulate you for the effort you put into such an excellent game.The lack of mods that change the game mechanics is quickly dropping Witcher 3 from the agenda.Skyrim still manages to stay on the agenda with its mods, I wish we could see crazy mod lists in Witcher 3.This makes me very sad because it is a better game than Skyrim.
You can't compare a mediocre sandbox with a generic protagonist with an almost perfect linear story game containing a carefully crafted main character. There's hardly anything that can be changed in Witcher 3 without making it worse.
It's absolutely true that I can't create a random character and compare it to a masterpiece, a game that lacks animation, a feeling of hitting, a story that nobody cares about, so you have to tell me what I don't know, not what I know.
Since the next-gen version of the game already has your mod integrated, will this update to your mod come as a game update as well? or do we have to manually download and use it?
Not bad, some are noticeable, others not so much. To me some textures look like its not textures per se that got better but shading and higher quality ambient occlusion. Probably would not be that noticeable if not looked up close. The more important is if it will not have major performance impact. Because current version of witcher 3 4.04 has some big fps drops, and i started getting those after 4.02 or maybe one or two patches before. It tends to drop bellow 50 sometimes.
Just got my Steam Deck Oled! Will it be able to run this? If not, can you make a performance friendly version. I like your choice in art direction! :)

You are using 5012 res with 12gb card 🤦 just reduce resolution, on that res it does not matter if game textures are on high or ultra, little noticeable difference.
@@milosstojanovic4623 I'm using dlss balanced, with FSR3 frame gen and RT ultra.
I already lowered textures to high, otherwise some areas are out of VRAM.
The problem with high textures that many textures are blurry, like you gonna have 4k texture at table, but chair will be 128x128 pixel's. On ultra textures everything is high quality.
Will this apply to the whole game or just the starting area of the game (white orchard)? I am mid way through the game and want to know if I should wait for this mod?
Whole game, all regions and locations will be significantly improved with this modification. You can see the changes in other areas in previous videos on the channel. ;)

Not everyone has a gaming PC... I would celebrate it mega if they would update it for the PS5 version. But unfortunately that will probably never happen.
Consoles don't support mods. Previous mods were integrated by the og devs but since the release of red kit w3 has been frozen/abandoned. So don't expect any more updates. And yes, the pc is the only solution here
Maybe someone in the comments can help, I really can't bring myself to finally finish a playthrough of TW3 with all the dialogue skipping, can someone recommend a mod that just lets you pick a dialogue option path and does it for you. preferably even just letting you skip through all of the convo, I just wanna see new places and fight stuff.
You can skip dialog line by line, and also you can just choose the main answer and do not bother with rest of it. You do not need to play all the quests with quest givers, you can just roam and go directly to "?" and finish it that way.
Game not for you go play dmc5 or bayonetta if u just wanna fight stuff

The next gen update included the previous version of the mod (12.0 ultimate), that it is in nexus. This is an upgraded version of the mod

Extract texture from files and increase their resolution. Its common thing when devs release those remasters they unintentionally skip some of those objects. From the video it is clear that some texture upscaling did not brought noticeable difference, others are clearly higher quality.

@@gradius12 yeah you are right. It is possible they are replacement. But until it is stated those are replacement and not upscale we can not be sure which are which. Some indeed look like upscale plus some added/improved additional shader/occlusion.
