With proper magnification, it is possible to disnguish between the SMP and the hair actually growing. Therefore, a high magnification is necessary for the surgical procedure.

I got my hairline transplanted in 2018 post which since 2020 i had struggled with the temple and crown thinning and it just make we so concious and always worried ashamed of socializing and finally i decided to visit the same doctor this year Jan and asked him to perform another procedure on the temple atleast so it could blend the hairline he then suggested SMP, I trusted his suggestion and went ahead. However, now it's even more funny. Feels like got stuck with it. After coming across your channel feels like there is still a hope, need the entire rectification. This looks like expensive clinic as i just work in BPO not sure if i could afford! Still would like to know how much per graft is the charge so i can think of saving and planning accordingly. Why did they use tattoo ink for smp instead of a pigment that matches their hair colour? I was told tattoo ink has a blue hue and spreads which is why they don't use it? I have pcos hair loss and considering SMP for my general thinning.

I had SMP done 6 weeks after an FUE hair transplant in same area. It is now 7 months post hair transplant and I don't see any new hair growth in the transplanted area. Thank you. SMP can help.conceal the FUT strip. However, SMP needs to be maintained as it tends to fade over time.

There are a range of different inks used depending on the right contrast to be created. However all inks have limited life span.

No its not. It can help hide scars instead.
