Does anyone else think it was the real Thawne talking to Caitlin, and he freed Hannibal Bates while in the hallway? I doubt Bates would've expressed exhaustion or hesitation, like Thawne briefly did. Tom Cavanagh's expression right before the switch to Cisco's scene, seemed to be along this line: "Finally...almost time to go home."

@@primalvelocity3811 honestly 1,2 and 3 I can watch all day. The 1st 3 seasons I loved the show you couldn’t get me away from the tv. After 3 tho it was all downhill. To me at least.

Barry is really kind of a jerk here. He is willing to risk Cisco dead because he couldn't get a confession from Wells. Cisco died before in the exact same circumstances, yet he is willing to go through it again for Barry. But Barry can watch him so close to being stabbed and is going to stand back and do nothing because he hasn't got his confession yet.
Cisco wasn't going to die, Hannibal can't replicate the abilities of the individual he transforms into, only their appearance. That's why Barry wasn't concerned.
Firstly, Kaitlyn was the WRONG person to set up Wells. She gave it away because she is not good at playing things off. Yes, Wells was watching but he wouldn't have exposed himself until they confronted him.
Secondly, Joe is always crying and letting his emotions control him.

How did Everyman know so much about Barry, Joe and Nora. Did Thawne brief him of 15 years of history in the elevator? Also what was Everyman going to do to Cisco, slap him? He can't vibrate his hand and how did he know that was Thawne's signature move?

Cause the force field is only meant to stop speedsters. Everyman wasn't a speedster nor were the bullets

what confused me was that the trap caused immense harm to the body of whoever was inside of it, as mentioned in the episode where Wells beat himself up, so why aren't cisco or the everyman dead straight away

Imagine if it had actually been Wells and Barry had caught the last bullet, because to them at this point in time he was Wells. He would have killed Cisco.
If that actually was "wells" then he wouldn't have been able to get past the force field
