- The Flash and Quicksilver are the most famous of comic book speedsters! In fact, there have been many different actors to portray them on the big screen. But on a ranked list from slowest to fastest, where would each interpretation of the characters be placed? Oh yeah and I'm also including some other "speedsters" other than the Flash and Quicksilver on this list.
P.S. I'm not including each character's original comic book counterparts.

Very few calculations were actually shown (mostly superhero-sec/human-sec conversions). He mostly displayed where his units came from. Most of the dimensional analysis was done off screen.

Honestly I think that we can't really measure quicksilver because in days of future past that was obviously him screwing around. I mean he ate a whole pizza and moonwalked in that scene. I am pretty sure he was messing around the whole time.

Yeah but we don't take into account what hasn't been shown, if we start taking unnecessary variables it would become a mindfuck of calculations which would confuse you more then it would help you
@@SevenZeroEleven It would get to the point that it would literally be incalculable. There's no way to tell how fast Quicksilver can be, but only considering his highest speed shown. Then again, considering every single frame of that scene, it would be incredibly hard to calculate how fast he would be if he used that speed consistently. The calculation from Gubz may not be perfect, but it was good enough.

Cook E it doesn't matter.. the laws of nature doesn't magically increase the BPM of songs. the speed of sound is just how long it takes before it gets to you and if the sound stops while traveling it only plays to that extent.

If they were to race and started to move at the exact same time The Flash would have already travelled to the edge of the universe and back trillions of times before Quicksilver even moved the length of an atom.

This isn't confirmed at all, but I don't think x-men quicksilver actually has a limit to his speed. Since he's the son of magneto, it's likely he inherited his father's ability to control some type of force field. Magneto could control magnetic fields, and in order for quicksilver to appear to move impossibly fast he should be able to control gravitational fields. Quicksilver controls his perception of time by essentially warping spacetime around him, causing time dilation to occur. This means in his little pocket of spacetime he just moves normally. We don't know if there is a limit to how much he can warp the gravitational fields around him, but if there isn't a limit this means he could slow down his perception of time as much as he wants, as long as it's not zero. This would allow him to travel well above the speed of light according to other people, but no physical laws are broken because his actual speed is a normal running speed.

Shows throw cop-outs in them a lot. Barry shouldn't have needed Supergirl to get back home, plus no Superman or Supergirl is or ever has been faster than an actual speedster. Speed isn't there thing, although they have superspeed. Including that in this video was ignorant by all means. So no, no Supergirl is not as fast as Barry or Zoom by a LONG SHOT.

Watch s4 flash time episode on CW Flash which is on Netflix (which is where I watch it) and you will change your mind
(warning lots of spoilers ahead for season 11) Smallville Superman is a ridculous amount of times faster than anyone on this list and it's not even close (except maybe current season 7 Barry and season 11 Bart Full Power, but thats a big debate (nah he stomps barry), in season 11 whilst Clark and green lantern (John Stewart) were fighting parallax ( imgur.com/upv4Inz ) in a different sector ( imgur.com/5ZxR6gQ ) (wether this is a different solar system or galaxy is not stated, however we know krypton is in a different galxy and has a different sector that being 2813, here is New Argo in the same sector as Krypton imgur.com/U3z3wXj ), we also know that Krypton is 23 galxies away ( imgur.com/MLKWACe ), so this sector could be multiple galaxys away but for math purposes well assume it was just one) but I digress if we assume that this man traverssed only a solar system, (it is FAR FAR! more likely that it was an entire galaxy seing as how the ring was seen traveling from new Argo which is in the same sector as Krypton, all the way to earth which is in sector 2814, but lets lowball tremendously and say they were only in another solar system. he managed to fly across an entire solar system and back in just a 1-4 hour window, that by itself is a feat that is Massivley FTL+, that is assuming he only traveled across a solar system and not a galaxy ( again it Being a Galaxy is FAR FAR! more likley but seeing as were only trying to prove hes faster than these guys lets just say it was only a Solar System) this means he would be able to casually beat anyone he mentioned here in any kind of race this includes Chris Reeve, were talking tens of thousands of times FTL. Also he has much smaller feats that occour in the show like the time he was able to run from Kansas to Honduras in 10 seconds at around MACH 1580 (web.archive.org/web/20171222054818/www.narutoforums.org/xfa-blog-entry/where-in-the-world-is-milton-fine-smallville.22125/ ) ( gfycat.com/blackandwhitesameichthyostega ) .And also you know the time he cassually chucked a planet at solar system escaping speeds, ( streamable.com/63xk1 ). Some people think that this is because of the GL ring but this is CAP, he is consantly talking about it being a burden and trys multiple times to take it off, also it made him weak against the color yellow and at no point in the story did he mention that he was faster or stronger in anyway because of the GL ring, after he took off the ring he was able to go toe to toe with parallax possessed John Stewart and push both the ION and Parallax enteties out of his reality, without the ring. These are just a few feats this man has under his belt, This guy will stomp any Live action version of Superman. BTW theres only one Superman and it's Christopher reeve he will forever be Superman R.I.P. All feats that pertain to the greenlantern flight time can be found in the Smallville Lantern story published from (march - may of 2014) The writers really just made this dude OP for no reason, if we were to use a galaxy instead of a solar system given the same time frame it would result in a speed that is actually tens of billions of times FTL. My point is that when they were fighting in that garage place, if reverse flash was faster, he could have outmaneuvered all of his punches and he could have noticed the flash running into him ahead of time. Assuming he was that fast, which he isn't.

Hello Norse YT great comment, I understand why some people might think that Ezra miller's flash is now the fastest and the only one capable of going past light (MACH 874030) but this is simply not true, This video is purposefully inaccurate, Tom Welling's Smallville Superman is by far the strongest and fastest character on this list and it's not even close.
I don't mean to drop a whole essay on you so don't read if you don't want to. Ok here we go
(warning lots of spoilers ahead for season 11) Smallville Superman is a ridiculous amount of times faster than anyone on this list and it's not even close (except season 11 Bart Allen Full Power (who absorbed the entire speed force on earth but that's a different story), in season 11 whilst Clark and green lantern (John Stewart) were fighting parallax ( imgur.com/upv4Inz ) in a different sector ( imgur.com/5ZxR6gQ ) (wether this is a different solar system or galaxy is not stated, however we know krypton is in a different galaxy and has a different sector that being 2813, here is New Argo in the same sector as Krypton imgur.com/U3z3wXj ), we also know that Krypton is 23 galaxies away ( imgur.com/MLKWACe ), so this sector could be multiple galaxies away but for math purposes well assume it was just one) but I digress if we assume that this man traversed only a solar system, (it is FAR FAR! more likely that it was an entire galaxy seeing as how the ring was seen traveling from new Argo which is in the same sector as Krypton, all the way to earth which is in sector 2814, but lets lowball tremendously and say they were only in another solar system. he managed to fly across an entire solar system and back in just a 1-4 hour window, that by itself is a feat that is Massively FTL+, that is assuming he only traveled across a solar system and not a galaxy ( again it Being a Galaxy is FAR FAR! more likely but seeing as were only trying to prove hes faster than these guys lets just say it was only a Solar System) this means he would be able to casually beat anyone he mentioned here in any kind of race this includes Chris Reeve and Ezra Miller, were talking tens of thousands of times FTL. Interesting story : For the clarification, there are some dimwits in the comments who have no idea , who the Original Wally West is. There are two Wally West. One is the Original Wally who is white skinned and Red Haired and other is new 52 Wally who is black skinned which is in the Flash tv show (African-American).

Flash isn't powered by space but by the Speed Force.
The Speed Force is something like an extra dimension to the dimensions of space and time.
So even if the theory is true and Quicksilver can warp space, it would likely do nothing to Flash's speed.

the quick silver x men version was too much exageratted. if you have doubt just consider his fight with apocalypse. QS was only able to hit Apocalypse 6 times in 2 seconds. he only ran two rounds in that time. we all know he was not joking in that fight. apocalypse was also able to move his eyeball in time when QS placed his foot twice while running at tops. finally , if QS was so fast as 462 mach he could have punched apocalypse almost 7291 times. that would mean he could obliterate apocalypse in less time than Jean's pheonix force. that top running when he saved everyone was only put for popular support and did not mean any serious math. secondly , if he was so fast , he could have broken magnetos magnetic force field with half kinetic punch or repeated punches, but he did not. so basically do not put him to that high level.

Good video, but there is one thing that I have to take issue with, Aaron Taylor-Johnson/MCU's depiction of Quicksilver. Everyone says, "He's slow. Why wasn't he fast enough to get out of the way of those bullets?" He was! He got hit because he slowed down enough to move Hawkeye & that kid out of the way. If it had just been him the bullets would've never gotten anywhere near him. I'm not disputing his ranking on the list, just acknowledging that he was far faster than people seem to give him credit for! Also, Joss Whedon decided that someone on the Avengers' side of the fight had to die, and he drew the short straw. Sometimes it sucks to be the less interesting sibling in the family!
