What a lovely handmade, one of a kind, you are special card. The person who receives a card like this will feel loved. This is such a beautiful way to bless the very special family and friends. As I was watching, I thought this would be a good Sumner craft. Easily portable; no hot, scratchy yarns on your lap; and no pressure of the December deadline with a mile long list of yet, undone items. Thank you for introducing a new variation of supplies and scraps I already have on hand and a way to use them. 😀
Thank you for the sweet comment :) Good idea to get started in the summer to get a jump start on the holidays :) I really do like how portable of a project it is :) tfw, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy
I love slow stitching. And free wheeling basic stitches is good when you just want to relax. An idea for you (which I have done before) would be to stitch on a piece of the thin ric-rack. Easy to do and adds more texture. Also a piece of narrow ribbon (more fiddle to it, but nice) or use a thin strip of fabric and "couch" it. Very inspiring video TFS. Hope you have a great day.🌞
Thank you for the sweet comment :) Thank you for sharing your ideas with us all, they sound like a great addition :) tfw, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy
This is so lovely Amy, gives me the sense of a real Christmas, handmade with love. The recipient of this card is a very lucky person. Wishing you and your family a bright and joyful Christmas.
Nice idea for a slow stitch craft! I love the rhythm of stitching, it's very soothing; and it doesn't have to be precise to be nice. Fun idea, thanks for sharing; take care!
Thank you for the sweet comment :) I am finding out it is soothing too, who knew I would pick up my mothers craft :) tfw, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy

Thank you for the sweet comment :) It has been by watching and playing along with your videos that I found out I really like stitching :) I hope you and Jeremy have an Outstanding Christmas and A happy New Year :) I am so thankful I met you and made friends with you so long ago, it really has been a blessing :) tfw, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy
Nice Gorgeous thank you so much for sharing sometimes I just sew some things together just to do it because it’s so relaxing but this is such a great idea thank you for sharing God bless and please have a amazing day
when doing the sequins in corners, make a fat knot and go through center & then the material, that way you only have to do the tie-off knot on the back. Trim the end close to the knot makes it easier working, in reverse, when doing single sequins.
Oh Wow! Amy, You shown us how to do some REALLY AMAZING Crafts on your Channel, but this is Most Definitely in the running for being One of My Absolute Favorite! I was watching it last night as we drove to my Mom's house & so when I got there, I made her watch it as well! I was so excited to try to see if I could pull off one of these, especially using The French Knot Stitch because you make it look pretty easy! That was one of the biggest reasons I wanted my Mom to watch this since I'd never even heard of A French Knot Stitch! I've done several Cross Stich Kits & really enjoyed them... Even though out of maybe (Totally Guessing here!) 20-25 Kits I started; I never fully completed ANY of them! LOL! *I did find it quite easy to finish up the real small ones though! (like the one's I get could find in a day or so _ie: A small butterfly_ LOL! Of course My Mom lived your video... But she was like... REALLY ERICA? REALLY? (I was confused) She said, "Do you know how many time your Grandmother & I tried to teach you to hand sew? Do you remember any of that when you were young? She said they tried dozens of times to teach me how to do the French Knott but I could never get it! Which is evidently the reason why they gave up on that & started trying to teach me how to crochet! (That French Knot Stich actually reminds me of crocheting; Like after your chain & you have to wrap your needle a certain amount of time before skipping a specific number of holes to go back through! LOL... Anyways... I digress! I have Way more embroidery thread & yarn than should be allowed! (Inherited it from my Grandmother's & It's A LOT! ***PLEASE LMK IF YOU'D LIKE ANY! I BET THERES A REAL GOOD CHANCE THST IF THERE'S SOMETHING SPECIFIC YOU'RE LOOKING FOR~IT VERY WELL MAY BE HERE!!! Thanks Again Amy!
Thank you for the sweet comment :) LOL, if there is something you are missing I am sure I have it :) I have been "collecting" since I was a child and now fill up my whole studio with no room for growth, lol :) Hand quilting and embrodery were my mothers crafts, and I thought I would never be doing those, but here we are :) tfw, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy
