One of my favorite groups. Most under-rated band around right now. They are from Iceland and one of their videos they are standing on this huge slab of ice with nothing around them but the stark beauty of ice. I would have recommended this. I believe the genre is considered Indie and as my taste in music has evolved I listen to A LOT of Indie music currently.
Jökull Júlíusson is the lead singer, and does he have a voice, great range, and so unique. I've only recently discovered this band too. To be seen to be believed, is their performance of Save Yourself, live from a glacial lagoon in Iceland. Also for his vocal range, All the Pretty Girls.

That’s one of my top 10 for life. This song brings the softest of tears to my face.
Gotta say “Broken Bones” and “Vor í Vaglaskógi” are my favorites. I listen to them on a daily basis. They are sooo good. Love these guys. Also I’ve never seen anything negative with these guys. And when you see this guy you think “He must have a squeaky voice” but oh no you’re mistaken. His voice just blows you away. Incredible.
