Speed is subjective, there's always someone faster. So, just enjoy the ride
I went for the 420d, the torque output makes a huge difference. 280 lbs/ft on the 420d compared to 217 on the 420i.
Great video man this channel deserves more attention. really going into detail while going for a realistic drive ;)
Hopefully you get to test one with a stage 1 tune on it. It’s not exactly going to be a rocket, but they left a lot of power in reserve on these. I’m pretty sure you can get 80+bhp easily, which should massively wake everything up.
Do you know how safe a stage 1 is on a non x drive one of these with no modifications
@@laythOTPlmk if you find out
@@laythOTP Pretty safe if it has the B48 engine. With the N20 I would be wary to tune it.
Isn’t it a similar engine to the 428i which has 250ish stock. So me thinks it’s safe to remap to 260-70ish.
That’s one nice looking car
Thanks great review i was stuck between the 420d and 420i, think I'm gonna go for the 420d but the gran coupe version. Do you think the gran coupe is slower from 0 - 60?
it's very slightly slower but nothing you'd notice whilst driving it.
@@ParagonCarsLondon are you going to do a 430d review in future I really enjoy your reviews
@@jordanhtiffirg1990 We might be getting one in the future. I'd certainly like to review one.
@@ParagonCarsLondon nice keep it up bro
thanks for the honest review
I'd be interested to see some more definitive fuel consumption figures for the 420i. In your 440i review you managed 41.2mpg on the motorway, but you only got 39.7 in the 420i which should use a lot less fuel.
in the real world the 420i is only really more efficient when driving round town as on the motorway it’s under load a lot more than the 440i. In ideal conditions the 420i would get 46mpg according to bmw.
Hi I really appreciate your videos.Someone like me who living in London not doing much motorway mainly driving in the city.Shoud I go for 420i or 420d.Problem is I have money only for 2017 models.Diesel 2017 with ulez kinda a worried no matter is euro 6 Please can you advise me?Thanks!
420i is the pick between the 2
@@joshuacerendu2522 4 series are ULEZ compliant from 2014 onwards regardless if its diesel or petrol.
I went for the 420d, the torque output makes a huge difference. 280 lbs/ft on the 420d compared to 217 on the 420i.
420i will not pass anything on the road lol. Slow and sluggish.
How much is it's estimated cost, both buying and shipping to Zambia
Are you joking? How would he know what it costs to ship to the asshole of the world? 🙂
Nothing with such a flashy exterior should be this painfully slow.
4:30 how much closer do u wanna get to that parked car
yeah your mirror kissed the other car's.
should i go for bmw f10 or 420d, am confused, thanks for the review
the 420d is newer so i'd probably go with that.
Simple solution, get the 3 litre petrol!
🤣
