7:00 Yes. Yes it is. A defective solar space sattelite. If you bring a robot companion from the before times, his reaction is basically "Ah shit, is that old sattelite _still_ going nuts? I thought it would've broken by now."
Only kept the damn thing alive in a single playthrough, and that's only because I know how to cheese. If you like puppies, that's basically a trap start option, as it will absolutely fucking die.
It's a BIG shame you guys cut out the ending, where Kelsey would've heard God Hand's theme, which she's already reacted to. Still, great reaction, and great choice of a video to react to. Kenshi is amazing, and I raked 400 hours in it without even realizing it.
It's so mod friendly that I even made my own jank mods. One of them introduce a new start option, where you begin as a Skeleton in the Ashlands. You're neutral or friendly with all mechanical faction, even Old Machines and other roaming mob robot factions, while automatically hostile with everything else. You're basically playing as Robot Hitler. Then I made a mod to introduce a 'Chu Ko Nu' based on my experience growing up playing Age of Empire 2. It's a crappy bow with ten-bolt magazines. Absolutely useless against armor, but will decimate starving bandits and animals. I made a few other mods too, like one that turn power cores into more than overweight cash loot, making them actually useful for powering your outpost in place without wind. I absolutely recommend Kenshi.
@@CitizenNoFDABE On the steam workshop. In the order I mentioned them, they are 'Fleshpocalypse,' 'Chu Ko Nu,' and 'Spider Power.' Not only are Power Cores usable for getting power in an outpost, there's a whole tech line and some crafting stations to _make_ power cores. The takeaway is that power cores are basically self-contained fission reactors, and that the tech for making more is very Old World. Crafting requires you making fly-by-wire assembly station, needing robotics-related items to make. I got a few other mods, like _Crossbow Expansion Basic Fixes_ which is effectively just a patch to another, much more important mod (that hasn't seen its author being active in ages), and _Storage of Holding_ which introduce various storage boxes with insane capacity.
@@axelord4ever thanks dude, it's so cool that people still play and mod kenshi. I once made a mod adding something akin to a rail gun, but I lost the models X( wish I could share.

I actually got introduced to Rimworld through Seth. the game sounded complicated (which it kinda is) but I've been addicted to playing it. I do from time to time look up some stuff since I'm new but it's enjoyable once you learn and apply them
Iirc Sseth is actually in the medical field irl, which sort of explains the accurate stuff that somehow sounds like an edgy joke. As for the crab, I think it's because everything evolves into a crab
Because giant crabs are terrifying. Let's just take a crab the size of SUV. The toughness of chitin exoskeleton to support all that weight would be close to iron or steel, the strenght of muscles to move all that weight would be enormous and don't forget about giant murder claws.
Honestly speaking Kenshi is a lot of fun and very easy to get into. I’ve spend multiple runs with different mods each time. The best part is Kenshi 2 is currently in development! How great is that?! :D
A suggestion to add to the massive list: Kilian Experience. They're a Scandinavian creator who's made some really fun 'summary' videos (like his recent 'The Entire History Of Film or Close Enough') that are told through him as a really unreliable narrator, it's real fun to watch :)
I know Kelsey reacted to the FFXIV trailers awhile ago, but I would love to see her reaction to the "Mad because small" series by Cider Spider. They tell the story of ffxiv( up to the end of stronghold expansion, at this current time), however it's from the perspective of their character Charity( more commonly known as Baby) a character who is 2' 10" tall and extremely angry about that fact.
Kenshi is easy to get into because their is no goal, my first game i died because my party and i came across enemies then we got knocked unconcious and later the animals started eating my party and i alive, truly a fun experience not because i died but because i died in a fun way.
on the subject of crabs, Earth has evolved crabs and crab like creatures something like 5 seperate times. You may not like it but thats the peak body plan and peak performance :) Jokes aside the phenomenon is referred to as carination i believe
No they arent. Perhaps only if your ecological niche happens to be the same as a bottom feeder/scavenger and opportunistic predator and you also have an exoskeleton/carapace. Otherwise, its clearly not. Just look around. Very clearly mammals do not have that as a "goal". Even the perception of having an evolutionary goal is a flawed understanding of evolution. There's no goal. Mainly its a continuous adaptation to selection pressures. I feel like this perception of "turning into a crab" is merely a minute footnote or observation from a researcher that became butchered and sold as an amusing tidbit of infomation to the masses by unread "science communicators".
Hello people! Once again reminding y'all to consider reacting to some of the bedbananas videos. I'd highly recommend his Rust and Hitman videos but others are very good too. Cheers
Kelsey should react to Wayne's "Half Life VR but the AI is Self Aware" if she's already seen it then I think his other series "Half Life Alyx but the gnome is self aware" would be good too. I think the first would fit her humor more, but the second is still pretty good.
Kenshi, the game where you can build an empire on a teeth extraction operation.
That is a bigoted term for post-mortem dentistry

That's actually one of the starting scenarios. You start off with a bonedog puppy. On the outskirts of a battle
and he dies 10 seconds in the run

He forgot to mention that the paladins will probably want to enslave non-humans they see.
